Nail Art: Sexy Spider-Woman Konadicure Using Konad Image Plate m57

Konad Nail Art Black & RedMove aside, Spider-Man! There’s a new hero in town. She kicks ass, takes names, and does it all with a fabulous manicure.

Introducing my 3rd Konad stamping nail art ever! Sure, it’s not perfect. And yes, I goofed up on my left hand a little, so I had to take photos of my right hand instead. (It was awkward using the camera with my left since I’m a righty.)

Despite the sloppiness, I really like how this Sexy Spider-Woman Konadicure came out. The base red is pretty bright, but it gets toned down and tip-toes along vampy avenue when it gets stamped with a black fishnet design.

While wearing this, I kept looking at my nails. Still not used to seeing Konad nail art on my nails, but I really love it!

What do you think of it? Have you tried this Konad fishnet nail design with other color combinations?

Image Plate m57 (Fishnet) Review

I was concerned that the fishnet pattern would be hard to use because the lines are very thin and the Konad Special Nail Polish dries pretty quickly if you’re not fast with the stamper.

To my relief, this design was just as easy to apply as the zebra and leopard print designs. I was able to get the entire image on my stamper without a hiccup.

Key Notes

What I Used to Create This Look:

Before I tried my hand at Konad nail art, I always thought that it was too much work, and that I wouldn’t be good at it. Well, okay…I’m not good at it (yet) – still need lots of practice. But as for it being too much work, it’s not! It literally takes about maybe 5 extra minutes to do compared to a standard one-color manicure.

I can’t wait to try the other designs on the Konad Image Plate (m57) as well as the other disks I just had to purchase!

What nail art have you done that you were proud of? Do you know of any place I can purchase other nail-art stamping plates that aren’t Konad or Bundle Monster? I’m looking for more full-nail designs.

I’m not sure if anyone else has mentioned these to you yet, (heck, you may already have them by now!), but there’s a twenty five plate fauxnad set on Amazon by M.A.S.H. that are mostly Konad dupes. The set is only, like, sixteen dollars or so USD. I’m not sure how that converts to CAD, but when you consider that it’s twenty five plates for about $16, and that Konad brand name plates are about $6 each, it’s a no-brainer.

There are a couple of plates that have etching errors, but it’s not a huge deal. The plates stamp great and I love that (along with my Bundle Monster set), I’ve gotten 46 plates for under $40.

Anywho, I’m really enjoying your blog and am totally jealous of some of your polishes. Keep it up!

      Hey Aren!

Oh yes, I’ve heard about those M.A.S.H. plates before, but because I have a ridiculous number of Konad plates already, if I get the M.A.S.H. ones, I’d be getting mostly duplicate images, which wouldn’t be good value for me.

I also have the Bundle Monster image plates – the first set and the second set (which I love!). Awesome value here and so many unique patterns and images to choose from. 🙂

I’m so happy to hear that you’re enjoying Swatch And Learn and decided to leave a comment. We love hearing from our readers. 🙂

By the way, we’re working on a 1-year blog anniversary giveaway. It will include some nail polish…among other goodies! Watch out for that. 🙂 It’s going to be open to Canadian and U.S. residents.
