Nail Art: Pink Valentine’s Day Konadicure Using Konad Image Plate m57

Valentines Day SwatchesDear Pink Polish,

I know that I haven’t spent as much time with you as I would’ve liked. It’s not you. It’s me. I can’t help but be more attracted to greens, blues, and purples. And yes, playing the field is fun.

But it’s February, and Valentine’s Day will be here before we know it. Maybe Cupid finally got me with his arrows, but I saw you lying among the other polishes and I felt sorry to have neglected you all these years.

So for one week, let’s have a fun night out on the polish town. I’ll show you around, so put on your cutest Konadicure!

XOXO,

Mary

Nail Art: Sexy Spider-Woman Konadicure Using Konad Image Plate m57

Konad Nail Art Black & RedMove aside, Spider-Man! There’s a new hero in town. She kicks ass, takes names, and does it all with a fabulous manicure.

Introducing my 3rd Konad stamping nail art ever! Sure, it’s not perfect. And yes, I goofed up on my left hand a little, so I had to take photos of my right hand instead. (It was awkward using the camera with my left since I’m a righty.)

Despite the sloppiness, I really like how this Sexy Spider-Woman Konadicure came out. The base red is pretty bright, but it gets toned down and tip-toes along vampy avenue when it gets stamped with a black fishnet design.

While wearing this, I kept looking at my nails. Still not used to seeing Konad nail art on my nails, but I really love it!

What do you think of it? Have you tried this Konad fishnet nail design with other color combinations? Continue reading

Nail Art: Neon Pink & Black Leopard Manicure Using the Konad m57 Image Plate – Konad Nail Art Swatches

Leopard Konadicure Swatches smallerKonad is a gateway drug.

Seriously! Since I tried it once, it made me want to do nail art all the freakin’ time and with more complicated patterns!

Here’s my 2nd attempt ever – it’s a neon pink and black leopard manicure that looks like Rainbow Brite’s radioactive disease as disgusting as that sounds.

From the Konad m57 Image Plate, I was most excited to try out the leopard pattern, but for some reason, this combination just didn’t do anything for me.

After only a few days, I was too happy to remove it. Maybe with a different base color, I’d like it more. Need to experiment with more colors. (My favorite so far from that disk is definitely the zebra print.) Continue reading

Nail Art: Funky Purple Zebra Manicure Using the Konad m57 Image Plate – Konad Nail Art Swatches

Zebra Print Konadicure Swatches smallerKonad stamping kits have intrigued me for a long time because a) I’ve never dabbled in nail art before and b) Konad stamping nail art is supposed to be easy to use.

There were a couple of Konad Special Nail Polishes and a few Konad Image Plates in my stash. But it wasn’t until last month when I went a little crazy (okay, a lot crazy) and bought tons of new image plates by Konad!

Finally sucked up the courage to try my hand at some nail art. To my delight, it really is easy to do. Although it was my first time doing it, the results were impressive – looked like I had spent a lot more time to achieve this purple and black Konad zebra nail art!

What do you think about this design? Continue reading
