Plus this is very timely since I’m actually going on a short romantic ‘trip’ soon. I’m staying within the city, but he and I always have a great time.

Dear Blue Eyeshadows, don’t worry – you are still the love of my life. But sometimes I just need variety.

Purple is like my eyeshadow color mistress – I just can’t tear myself away no matter how much I love blue!

Everyday Minerals Art Girl Eyeshadow Rollerball is one of my most-recent purple purchases. Super excited when I pressed the Add to Bag button because the purple on the site looks more grape juice and vibrant. In person, it’s deeper. I am in a crazy blue-shadow phase right now. It’s currently my go-to shade whenever I want to feel hot. Whether it’s dark or light, shimmery or matte, cream or powder, I can’t seem to stay away. I’m glad I found my happy shade – every girl deserves one! 🙂 Do you have a color that makes you feel beautiful?

The Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without

Products I Use Every DayThere were lots of products that I fell in love with. But sometimes things just weren’t meant to be. They started seeing other people. And they made up lame excuses for sneaking out in the middle of the night. Needless to say, the relationship was cut short.

Of course I was heartbroken, but new products entered my life. Some took me for dinner and a movie. Others serenaded me with a Spanish guitar. And one special product made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.

Retail therapy is my chosen form of relaxation. When I’m bored or sad, my plastic always suffers. It was one of those BLAH days, and I somehow – without any clue how I got there – ended up on the Everyday Minerals website and started bagging shadows that I’ve wanted for a while now…

It’s a good thing that the shadows are only $7 ($4.50 for the travel sizes). I got quite a few of those (among other things), without totally pulling the plug on my wallet. Everyday Minerals Volcano Blossom Eyeshadow was the first shadow I tried from my order. It’s basically a black shadow… but before you open your mouth to yawn, it also has a gorgeous shimmer that looks really pretty! Continue reading →
