The Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without

Products I Use Every DayThere were lots of products that I fell in love with. But sometimes things just weren’t meant to be. They started seeing other people. And they made up lame excuses for sneaking out in the middle of the night. Needless to say, the relationship was cut short.

Of course I was heartbroken, but new products entered my life. Some took me for dinner and a movie. Others serenaded me with a Spanish guitar. And one special product made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world.

Here are the products that I’ve been faithful to because they’ve never let me down when I needed them. We plan to grow old together and celebrate many happy anniversaries.

I’m still developing a “go-to” set as I am fairly new to makeup and all the girly stuff so I will definitely have to keep some of your recommendations in mind. I totally have to agree on the Seche Vite though- I am brutal on my nails at work and Seche has been an amazing mani extender.. I only get minor tipwear now (and I change polish regularly enough for it not to be a major issue )and haven’t had any polish chipping at work since I started using it.

My newest go-to item has to be the Elf eyelid primer, which actually makes my shadow stay strong and pretty throughout my work shifts whereas before it would be very faded by the end of the day. My standard shadow is the Almay Intense I-Color “play up the blue” shadow trio for a quick natural look when dashing out the door to work (also helps that since they are natural colors it is less likely to be noticed if it gets smudged or rained off me =P ).

And I have major love for Bath and Body Works Japanese Cherry Blossom body splash- I love the scent and it isn’t too overpowering or sickeningly sweet like some sprays tend to be for me.

I am still experimenting with other things but these are the items that stand out to me in my daily routine. Thanks for the great product ideas!

      Hey Kelly M!

Welcome to the wonderfully addictive world of makeup! Hehehe, you’ve come to the right place. 😛

I haven’t tried the Elf eyelid primer, but sounds like it’s a winner if it works for you and costs just $1! And I’ve seen that Almay blue eye-shadow palette – very pretty and natural as you said. Good to hear that you’ve found items that you enjoy using! 🙂

Bath & Body Works really puts a dent in my wallet…haha. They are always having those Buy 3, Get 2 Free or even Buy 3, Get 3 Free deals…and it makes me buy more because it feels like a rip-off if you ever pay full price in that store. Very smart marketing! And they have some of the most affordable fragrances and many full body-care lines so you can really layer the scents you love. Bath & Body Works keeps reeling me in.

If you try some of the products I highly recommended, please do come back and share your experience. Thanks for stopping by!

Totally love Clean and Clear Eyemakeup remover! I used to be devoted to Lancome Bi-facil for over 12 years, and made the switch last year. I can’t believe how much money I’d wasted and how much I could’ve really saved had I really taken the time to give drugstore products a chance.
