Sedu Revolution Pro 4000i Dryer 1875 Watts Pink Edition Review & Pictures

Sedu Revolution Pro 4000i Dryer 1875 Watts Pink Edition Review & PicturesSedu is a haircare brand that I’ve come to trust. Several years ago, I tried their flat iron, and it literally changed my life!

My hair is naturally wavy/curly, so it gets frizzy and gross unless I put styling products like mousse in it. But I was tired of doing all that – for years I wore it like that. I wanted to wear it straight. Although I had tried a CHI flat iron, the Sedu kicked its behind!

Then I invested in a professional Sedu hairdryer and was really happy with it. But then one day, I put it on the bathroom counter, it slipped, and then fell onto the tile floor! The mechanism broke because it was quite a fall.

I had been happy with that hairdryer, so I was really bummed when the same model wasn’t sold anymore. (I had used that hairdryer daily for about 5 years, and if I was more careful, it could’ve lasted even longer.)

So, I searched Folica’s website for a replacement Sedu hairdryer. I chose the compact Sedu Revolution Pro 4000i Dryer 1875 Watts Pink Edition.

Is it as good as my previous Sedu hairdryer? Let me tell you what I think.

Bath & Body Works Mango Mandarin Volumizing Conditioner Review & Pictures

Bath & Body Works Mango Mandarin Volumizing Conditioner Review & PicturesToday I have for you a review on the Bath & Body Works Mango Mandarin Volumizing Conditioner!

(You’ll remember that very recently, I reviewed the moisturizing shampoo in this scent.)

To test this conditioner, I’ve been using it in conjunction with the shampoo.

And, actually, I accidentally bought the voluminizing version instead of the moisturizing one!

Allow me to tell you more of my thoughts on it in this post.

But…First thing’s first! I want to take this opportunity to let you know that I’m so grateful for the overwhelming response from you all in my giveaway post yesterday! ๐Ÿ™‚ Please keep helping me to spread the word. The last day to enter is June 6!

I’ll be replying to all of your comments on that post as soon as I can. It may take me a few days, but just know that I will reply. (Things are hectic over here – My niece was just born yesterday at 10 am! Yay! :D)

Bath & Body Works Mango Mandarin Moisturizing Shampoo Review & Pictures

Bath & Body Works Mango Mandarin Moisturizing Shampoo Review & PicturesI’ve been wanting to try the Bath & Body Works Mango Mandarin Moisturizing Shampoo for several years.

Finally after picking up the bottle and putting it back on the shelf, it ended up jumping into my loving arms…and then into the Bath & Body Works paper shopping bag. ๐Ÿ˜‰

The main reason why I was really interested in trying out this shampoo was because citrus scents are really energizing, and that’s exactly what I appreciate in the mornings, especially now that the weather’s getting much warmer.

TRESemme Climate Protection Finishing Spray Review & Pictures

TRESemme Climate Protection Finishing Spray Review & PicturesDo you use hairspray and other styling products?

In the summer, I looked high and low to find something that would prevent my hair from getting frizzy during those hazy, humid days.

The TRESemme Climate Protection Finishing Spray was the product I picked because it went on sale for just $1.99 CAD.

Unfortunately, this product didn’t help protect my hair against humidity, and it had a really strong smell that gave me a headache that lasted the entire day…for all the days that I gave it a chance to wow me.

Gillette Satin Care Dry Skin Shave Gel Review & Pictures

Gillette Satin Care Dry Skin Shave Gel Review & PicturesI know that this product isn’t as thrilling for you to read about as nail polish, but I’ve been looking forward to reviewing the Gillette Satin Care Dry Skin Shave Gel for quite some time. (At least I’m not reviewing toilet paper…haha! Ew!)

Shaving is my preferred hair-removal method of choice because while the results aren’t as long-lasting as using waxing strips, it’s easy, fast, and virtually pain-free (unless you nick yourself). And I haven’t tried hair-removal creams.

Ever since grade school, I’ve been loyal to using Gillette shaving gel because it lathers well, comes in a bunch of pleasant scents, and doesn’t dry out your skin.

What is your preferred hair-removal method of choice? Continue reading

Veet EasyGrip Ready-to-Use Wax Strips Review & Pictures

Veet EasyGrip Ready-to-Use Wax Strips Review & PicturesHappy Hallowe’en!

Hope you’re having a spooktacular time! ๐Ÿ™‚

Speaking of having a happy haunting, I have something truly scary to review today. It’s hair-raising evenย – the Veet EasyGrip Ready-to-Use Wax Strips!

I’ve wanted to try this ever since the summer, but kept putting it off because I can be a big ole chicken. *Bawk bawk bawk*

Waxing just seems really intense to me. You’re pulling the hair out by the root, after all. There’s no dainty way to go about it. Put your gold-rimmed floral teacup down! Go in and yank those suckers out!

As you can probably extrapolate from the above, I had never waxed before. So, I wanted to document my first experience on here, naturally.

Don’t worry – there aren’t any nasty before-and-after hair-removal photos of my legs to cringe at.

(Please do a Google image search for ‘Sasquatch’ if you are interested in Before Photos. For After Photos, Google Adriana Lima or some other drop-dead-gorgeous model. ;))

MoroccanOil Oil Treatment Review & Pictures

MoroccanOil Oil Treatment Review & PicturesThere’s so much hype surrounding argan oil and its benefits for the hair that in order for you to have not heard about it, you’d have to be living under a rock the size of The Situation’s ego!

While there are a variety of argan oil treatments on the market, I was most excited to try the original MoroccanOil Oil Treatment.

Even though I picked up a small 25 mL bottle of Moroccan oil maybe half a year ago, I only started trying it this month.

I must say that it does make my hair feel smoother and look silkier without leaving behind sticky residue, so it gets the thumbs up from me.

The price, however, is pretty high, so I’m using it sparingly – but it still works impressively even in small doses!

Let me tell you a little more about what I think of the MoroccanOil treatment. Continue reading
