First thing’s first – Happy St. Patrick’s Day! (Drink responsibly…that is, if you’re old enough to drink, of course.)
Now onto the review! No, not of booze. Cotton candy! Well, a candle.
I’m a sucker for anything that claims to have a cotton-candy scent. It’s probably because it reminds me of my incredible father (who passed away last year).
Whenever we went to the summer carnivals, he’d always buy me cotton candy…even if I wasn’t a kid anymore.
My fingers would get all sticky. My teeth would need a thorough brushing. And cotton candy was my edible happiness.
When I saw the new Slatkin & Co. Cotton Candy Candle from Bath & Body Works in its cute pink packaging, not only did I have to buy it, but I had to buy a back-up, too.

Lilacs are my favorite flowers – it’s a shame how their blooms don’t last long in the spring. And although there are lots of scents on the market that claim to be lilac-scented, I find that they always smell artificial and nauseating.
A couple of weekends ago, Fiona and I made some delicious chocolate-chip cookies from scratch.
Scented candles are one of my most recent obsessions that started a few months ago. One peek in my closet, and you’d probably shake your head in disbelief.
