Ever since I was little, my first choice for a donut was always the Hawaiian. It was the one with icing and round rainbow sprinkles on top. Even if the sprinkles got stuck in between my teeth, I still loved it.
Hmm…I definitely had a thing for rainbows as a kid because I went for the Super Kid ice-cream flavour whenever we went to Baskin Robbins. (Usually we went to Dairy Queen, though.) And Rainbow Brite was one of my favourite cartoons.
My dad and brother would try different kinds of donuts. But my mom would always pick the Cruller, which, even to this day, I consider to be a classy choice.
The only time I got a sugared donut was when all my top picks were sold out. Even so, when I found out about the Slatkin & Co. Cinnamon Sugared Donut Candle, I had to try it.

I’m a sucker for bakery-scented candles. If it makes me think that the wax could be edible, I’m so there!
When it comes to candles that smell edible, I’m a sucker. So it should come as no surprise that I bought the Slatkin & Co. Apple Crumble Candle from Bath & Body Works.
Do you like drinking coffee? Or are you like me? I don’t like drinking coffee unless it’s super sweet and has lots of caramel in it. But I love the way it smells! And in the fall when pumpkin flavours come out, all bets are off!
Initially I went into Bath & Body Works to pick up the large 3-wick S’mores candle since I already tested out the mini version of it and liked it. But then I got sidetracked and forgot about my main purpose. What else is new?
Okay, so I was on a nail-art roll for my last few consecutive posts. Thought that I’d change it up just a little, but keep the food theme going. (I really must be hungry! Hehe…)
Some candles smell good enough to eat! The Slatkin & Co. Salty Caramel Candle definitely falls into that category. It smells exactly like caramel popcorn that you’d get at a carnival.
