China Glaze Baby Beats Giveaway

Surprise!

A while back, I purchased the China Glaze Baby Beats Micro Mini Set. Actually, I purchased two sets – one for myself, and one for a giveaway, so that one lucky winner and I could be nail-polish twinsies! 🙂

Not only are the mini bottles really adorable, but I find that the brush is perfect for painting toenails. (Since Sandal Season is right around the corner, it’s the ideal time to experiment with bright shades. But, really, dare to wear loud colours whenever you want. Lacquer is about having fun!)

Since I’m a fan of bold colours, I had to share this cute, collectible set with you. It features six mini bottles of colours from the China Glaze Electric Nights Collection.

LAST DAY to Enter My Canadian Essie Resort 2015 Collection Giveaway & Quick Update

Hey everyone!

Today is the final day for Canadians to enter my Essie Resort 2015 Collection Giveaway!

If you haven’t already entered, there’s still time. It officially ends tonight at 11:59 pm EDT.

I’ll be randomly picking a winner and announcing it on here and some of my social media on either this Saturday or Sunday.

Also, if you’re a regular reader, you’ll have noticed this week, there have been fewer blog posts than the usual five. Don’t worry – everything’s great on my side of the pond, and a new post is coming soon. It’s just been an extra-busy week after work with lots of personal commitments and projects, but I’ll be carving out some time to plan new posts that will go live on here soon. TGIF! 🙂

Follow me on social media, especially Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook because I tend to be very active on there and share something daily, even when a blog post isn’t published.

Haha, those who followed me on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ knew that not long ago, I like piña coladas, and getting caught in the rain! I’m not much into health food. I am into champagne! Hehe, yeah one of my best friends and I danced our hearts out to that song a few days ago. He and I always have the best time together! I’ve been blasting that song and looping it over and over…and “planning our escape”. 😉

Speaking about music, I found out a couple of days ago that Lana Del Rey has a new song called Life Is Beautiful, and while I didn’t see it listed on the official movie soundtrack for The Age of Adaline, it’s supposed to be part of that film.

I can’t wait to hear the whole song (couldn’t find it for sale on iTunes yet) because the snippet of it that I heard gave me goosebumps. (Click here to hear the song teaser.)

Lana Del Rey is my favourite musical artist because of her haunting-yet-soothing voice and romantic melancholic themes. Her songs speak to my soul. You may remember this blog post that I dedicated to her back in 2012.

I’m also planning to watch The Age of Adaline this weekend because while the premise of the movie isn’t new, I still think it has the potential to be really touching.

After surviving a car accident, a young woman magically stops aging. Of course, that poses problems when her daughter and romantic partners in her life go through the natural aging process. Adaline needs to always be on the move, and she can’t have long-lasting fulfilling relationships with potential lovers because of her unusual secret.

Based on The Age of Adaline trailer, I have a feeling that the movie will illustrate how love isn’t just something worth living for, but something that’s worth dying for. (I obviously haven’t been the movie yet, so there are no spoilers here, but I’m going to predict that Adaline will somehow grow old and die for the love of her life.)

got2b Dial exclusive preview event On Tuesday February 24th after work, I had the pleasure of attending the göt2b & Dial Exclusive Preview Event! (Thanks to Langton Communications for the opportunity.)

You already got a glimpse of it when I posted photos and a video clip live during the event on some of my social media including Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

The venue was held on the third floor of the Storys Building, which is 170 years old! It’s located in the heart of downtown Toronto known as the entertainment district, near King Street West and University Avenue.

Although it was a chilly night and there was some snowfall, things were cozy inside because of the social energy and the modern loft decor.
