Even though I love sparkly and shimmery blues, my heart always seems to skip a beat when I come across dusty blues. Maybe it’s because I don’t have too many in my collection.
(The first time I realized I loved dusty blues was when I tried Sally Hansen’s Gray by Gray, but that shade’s much lighter and more grey than Zoya Natty.)
Zoya Natty is a gorgeous dusty blue nail polish from the Designer Collection, which is a subset of the Zoya NYFW 2012 Collection.
This lacquer is really sexy to me because it’s different than what I usually wear, and although it’s just a simple creme finish, I can’t think of any colour I have that’s a dupe for it.
P.S. Hope that my fellow Canadians are enjoying the long weekend! 🙂

Zoya Natty Review
Zoya is great when it comes to describing colours. Compared to other nail-polish companies, they go into greater detail and are quite accurate. They’ve officially called Natty by Zoya a “smoky deep steel blue”. Right on!
The smokiness or dustiness is what makes this deep blue nail polish interesting and not just another blue, in my opinion.
What a great fall shade! I hope that we’ll be seeing more smoky blues in future collections. It seems like there aren’t enough!
If you’re the type of person who tends to shy away from blue nail polish, I think you should still give this one a try because it’s neutral enough so it doesn’t scream, “Hey, look at me! I’m BLUE!” at the nail-polish tailgate party. 😉 It’s still very classy, but has some edge to it.
Natty by Zoya has a creme finish, so there’s absolutely zero sparkle, shimmer, or glitter. It’s very simple and clean, but it’s far from boring.
I think that the colour stands out more because of the creme finish, and it looks so chic.
Application & Formula
This applied beautifully – I had absolutely zero problems applying it. It was easy to control, it didn’t pool, and it was very opaque even with one coat, but I used two coats to even everything out.
Zoya is a brand that is vegan and cruelty-free, which is a major plus!
Final Verdict: 10/10
Even though Zoya Natty is such a simple colour, it really WOWed me because smoky blues are colours I tend not to wear only because I don’t have many in my collection…and it seems like nail-polish companies don’t put out many good ones.
I’m cherishing my bottle of this because I feel like it’s a great blue that’s neutral enough to wear with lots of different outfits. Very classy and very fall!
