OPI Germany Collection Press Release & Promo Pictures

OPI Germany Collection Press Release & Promo PicturesThe OPI Germany Collection is set to drop this August!

As a whole, the collection looks really editorial, so I’m digging it.

The display is pretty cool with all those boxed sections – very modern.

Out of all the colours, I’m most looking forward to German-icure by OPI, Every Month is Oktoberfest, Unfor-Greta-Bly Blue, Suzi & the 7 Dusseldorfs, Berlin There Done That, and Deutsche You Want Me Baby. (Yeah, that’s half of the collection! I like Don’t Talk Bach to Me, but I don’t think it would work with my skin tone.)

Haha, the names for a lot of these shades are very creative! šŸ™‚

OPI If You Moust You Moust Swatches & Review

OPI-If-You-Moust-You-Moust-Swatches-ReviewPink polish isn’t something I typically wear, but with my newborn niece being born just days ago, I had to sport something traditional to pay tribute to her.

OPI If You Moust You Moust comes from the OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection, and it’s a playful pink that I actually think looks okay on my skin tone.

Most of the time, pinks make my fingers look dirty or just ‘off’. So this was a real shocker!

Maybe if I’m able to find shades like this, I’ll be able to wear pinks more often. Haha, oh, who am I kidding? I’m a green and purple lover at heart! šŸ˜‰

OPI The Color of Minnie Swatches & Review

OPI The Color of Minnie Swatches & ReviewIt’s a rare thing when I feel the itch to wear a red nail polish. And usually I ‘scratch’ the itch near Christmas because it’s festive.

This time, I couldn’t hold back.

I scratched the itch with OPI The Color of Minnie from the limited-edition OPI Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection that officially drops in June.

When I first glanced at the bottle, I thought this would be a standard red creme polish, but upon closer inspection, it whispered a secret.

Allow me to go into further detail about this polish.

OPI Pure Lacquer Nail Apps Press Release & Promo Pictures

OPI Pure Lacquer Nail Apps Press Release and Promo PicturesI’ve never tried nail-polish strips before. Have you? What has been your experience with them? Do they last as long as a regular manicure? I’m curious like a cat!

All these questions were sparked because of the press release that PR sent me about the new OPI Pure Lacquer Nail Apps. They’re pre-cut nail strips made of actual polish. You can put them on and not have to wait for your nails to dry.

I’m not sure if I’ll ever try nail-polish strips because I enjoy actually painting my nails. And if I want nail art, I tend to freehand or stamp it myself. That being said, it’s great for those who aren’t so polish obsessed like I am or who don’t have an arsenal of nail-art products. Plus this seems like a fun way to test-drive an intricate design.

OPI Natural Nail Base Coat Review & Pictures

OPI Natural Nail Base Coat Pictures & ReviewAlthough I often shine the spotlight on nail-polish colours as they tap dance across the stage with their top hat and cane, it’s important to remember that wearing a good base coat is vital for any manicure to go the distance. And what works for one person could be Chip City for another.

Over the years, I’ve worn many different base coats, and since I’m reaching the bottom of my OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, I thought I’d better review it now while you can still see a bit of product left in the bottle! šŸ˜‰

If you’re a regular Swatch And Learn reader, you may have noticed that I like to rotate the base coat I use. For this reason, it’ll probably take me forever to finish all the bottles I’ve accumulated. (Hehe, when I first started collecting polish more seriously in 2008, I also started collecting base coats!)

So did the OPI Natural Nail Base Coat impress me? Let me go into further details!

Nail Art: Pink & Black Zebra Nails Using Konad Image Plate m57

Pink & Black Zebra Nail Art Nail SwatchesYesterday, I shared my thoughts with you on OPI I’m All Ears from the Vintage Minnie Mouse Collection. Although it was like, it wasn’t love.

So, what did I do? I Konaded the *beep* out of it. šŸ˜‰ Here are Pink & Black Zebra Nails!

I turned to my tried-and-true full-nail Konad image plate m57. The zebra print never lets me down. Even when I’ve used it over a polish I didn’t care for, it turns it into a winning manicure for me that I enjoy wearing.

Haha, maybe it’s a cop-out because I’m sure you all have seen this zebra print a bazillion times. It’s nothing revolutionary now. But, it just goes to show you what a must-have the Konad m57 image plate is! šŸ™‚ If you don’t already have it, get it!

OPI I’m All Ears Swatches & Review

OPI I'm All Ears Swatches & ReviewInstead of reaching for self-help books, maybe Dumbo should wear nail polish (and in particular, OPI I’m All Ears) to feel better about himself!

Perhaps he’d hit it off with Minnie Mouse, even though there are lots of tall tales about elephants being scared of mice. šŸ˜‰

And will you take my temperature? I have never worn so many pink polishes in such a short period of time!

It’s actually making me miss my greens, and I never miss them because they’re usually my staple.
