Nail Art: Neon Pink & Black Leopard Manicure Using the Konad m57 Image Plate – Konad Nail Art Swatches

Leopard Konadicure Swatches smallerKonad is a gateway drug.

Seriously! Since I tried it once, it made me want to do nail art all the freakin’ time and with more complicated patterns!

Here’s my 2nd attempt ever – it’s a neon pink and black leopard manicure that looks like Rainbow Brite’s radioactive disease as disgusting as that sounds.

From the Konad m57 Image Plate, I was most excited to try out the leopard pattern, but for some reason, this combination just didn’t do anything for me.

After only a few days, I was too happy to remove it. Maybe with a different base color, I’d like it more. Need to experiment with more colors. (My favorite so far from that disk is definitely the zebra print.)

Konad m57 Image Plate (Leopard) Review

The leopard Konad print was just as easy as the zebra print to apply to my nails. And, after experimenting a little more with individual images, I found that the full-nail designs were actually easier to do.

One drawback is that if you have long nails, the image plate doesn’t fully cover your entire nail, and you may have to do a double stamp or you’ll have ‘bald’ patches. Doing this may mess up your manicure, unless you’re more experienced.

Overall, I do like the leopard print even though it’s really busy. Even though this manicure is loud and obnoxious, I can see that if you used something like a khaki green instead of the neon pink, you could get a more sophisticated look (as sophisticated as leopard print can be!).

Key Notes

Konad Products I Used to Create This Leopard Manicure:

Obviously there’s streaking and the pattern on each nail isn’t perfect, but I’m still learning. With practice, I can only get better (I hope!).

Do you like this combination, or is it too tacky for your taste? It’s definitely the most ridiculous thing I’ve worn on my nails.

Which are your favorite designs to create using your Konad stamping kit?
