Refreshing like an after-dinner mint for nails is INGLOT O2M Breathable 688, which is a perky green creme.
Clean without being stark, it’s a soft shade that fits into this transitional period where we’re getting tired of the winter and longing for the warmth of spring.
As you know, wearing green nail polish feels like second nature to me, and INGLOT O2M Breathable 688 is no exception. It’s a total ‘Comfort Colour’ for me.

INGLOT O2M Breathable 688 Review
Colour
INGLOT O2M Breathable 688 is a light, minty green that’s bright without being flashy. It has a spring vibe that I’m craving because of all the dreary winter weather we’ve been having.
With more ‘bite’ than a pastel green, its saturated colour is like a spring in your nail step, so it never looks anemic.
Finish
This creme nail polish is devoid of any sort of shimmer, but it’s far from boring or plain. Somehow, the colour stands out even more when it’s a creme, and it’s always a bonus when you can remove the polish easily, unlike a chunky glitter lacquer.
Application & Formula
Aligned with my previous experiences with INGLOT O2M Breathable nail polishes, 688 glided on without a hitch, and the thin formula was easy to control with a brush.
I used two coats to get the coverage you see in my photos. If you’re a stickler for 100% opacity, you may want to slick on one more coat, but I was comfortable with it like this.
Ingredients
INGLOT O2M Breathable nail polishes are formulated without Toluene, Formaldehyde, DBP, and Camphor.
For the complete list of ingredients, please refer to the photo I took, which can be found near the top of this post.
One of the selling points of INGLOT O2M Breathable nail polishes is that they allow water and oxygen to permeate the nail, which may be healthier for you. I haven’t scientifically tested this claim, but if there are many readers out there who are interested in me doing so, let me know!
Value
At $17 CAD, it’s pricier than other polishes, and you get 11 mL of product. However, if you like the colour and are looking to try something different than a mainstream brand, this is like a fun luxury.
Name
A cool green nail polish like this deserves a creative name that’s memorable. Not only is a fun name one of the many reasons why enthusiasts purchase a nail polish, but it also helps to make the lacquer memorable. However, with a name like 688, it’s easy to forget, and it doesn’t do this pretty polish any justice.

This pretty creme was a delight to wear, and it added some extra cheer to my manicure. If you haven’t tried INGLOT nail polishes and are curious, this is a fun one to try!
