OPI Avojuice Violet Orchid Hand & Body Lotion Review & Pictures Have you tried any of the OPI Avojuice lotions?

I have always seen them at Trade Secrets, but never bought any. I’m not sure why, since I do enjoy scents, and I’m trying to moisturize my hands more (since I tend to neglect them, even though I wash my hands often).

This is the very first OPI Avojuice hand and body lotion that I’ve reviewed on here, so I’m excited to get into it!

The OPI Avojuice Violet Orchid Hand & Body Lotion is one of two new scents added this year. It officially is set to launch in July. (You can read the press release about it here.)

The True Blue Spa Blackberry Purifying Peel Off Face Mask from Bath & Body Works is the very first peel-off mask that I’ve ever tried.

I’ve had this since last year, and I hauled it when I was placing a huge online order of candles. (Haha, I haven’t bought anything from Bath & Body Works since because I’m trying to use up the huge collection I’ve amassed!)

Since it was on sale, I added this blackberry peel-off mask to my cart.

I’ve used it a few times since purchasing it, and, hehe, I’ve also used it on the guy I’m dating. We both really loved it!

Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil Review & Pictures

Josie Maran Pure Argan Oil Review & Pictures I’ve been using the popular MoroccanOil Oil Treatment or the One ‘n Only Argan Oil Treatment on my hair daily with great results, but then I heard about the Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil and became curious about if it would work just as well.

I also liked how the Josie Maran Argan Oil is pure and organic, unlike the other treatments, which contain tons of other ingredients.

By itself, the 50 mL bottle is quite pricey at around $58 CAD, but I purchased a limited-edition value kit that included this plus a few other Josie Maran products.

On the kit’s box, it says that you get a $120 USD value for just $64 USD, and two of the items are full-size products. So, I decided to spend just a bit more to get the extra value kit.

So when I made the switch to Josie Maran’s Argan Oil, was it a good move, or did I regret it? There’s only one way to find out! 😉

True Blue Spa Super Rich Hand Cream Lay It On Thick Fragrance Free Review & Pictures smaller I’ve always heard good things about the True Blue Spa products from Bath & Body Works, but it was only until very recently that I tried my first one.

Since my hands have been pretty dry with extra-frequent washing, I decided to put this cream to the test: True Blue Spa Super Rich Hand Cream Lay It On Thick Fragrance Free! (Wowzers, that was long!)

So, I’m not usually diligent about applying hand cream after every single instance I wash my hands. More often than not, I find myself applying cream when I notice that my hands are dry. (Yeah, not the best strategy.)

It also doesn’t help that sadly, I’m still feeling under the weather. (When I’m sick, I tend to wash my hands and use sanitizer a lot more because I don’t want to spread my misfortune.) I made some improvement and thought I was getting better, but then the really cold weather made it harder to recuperate. This is officially the worst illness I’ve had in a long time, and I’m so ready for it to leave me alone!

I don’t use them all the time – maybe a few times a month.

Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Blackberries Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap Review & Pictures First thing’s first. I want to say that my thoughts and prayers go out especially to those on the east coat who are experiencing the worst of Sandy, the hurricane-turned-post-tropical-cyclone. Please be safe!

Here in Canada, we experienced strong winds and some rain. One woman was killed by a falling Staples sign, and I saw news footage of a large tree collapsing onto a house in the Beaches! Thousands of people in the Greater Toronto Area have experienced power outages. Sandy isn’t playing around!

In the wake of crazy environmental conditions terrorizing so many and worrying about my neighbours south of the border, I feel like this product review is unimportant. But, unless I lose electricity, the Swatch And Learn show will go on…

Edit: I ended up losing power last night, and it was literally a few seconds after I scheduled this post for today! The power came back on this morning, and the wind has died down here. We didn’t experience the degree of the storm like the Americans. My heart goes out to all of you who are feeling the effects of it!

Bath-Body-Works-Brew-Berry-Foaming-Hand-Soap-Review-Pictures Time’s flying by so fast! I can’t believe that it’s going to be October soon. And Hallowe’en will be right around the corner. It’s my favourite holiday!

Today I’m reviewing the only Hallowe’en product I’ve bought this year so far – Bath & Body Works Brew Berry Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap.

Are you a fan of Hallowe’en? Will you be dressing up or having a party? Are you going trick-or-treating?

I still remember my trick-or-treating days. My best friend and I would hit up this one neighbourhood where it seemed like everyone gave out full-sized chocolate bars. To a kid, it was like hitting the candy jackpot!

And in that neighbourhood, people would realllllly get into the Hallowe’en spirit. There was one house that always had a whole display on their front lawn, including a tent where kids could go through and see things like ‘eyeballs’ in bowls and ‘intestines’ on plates. They’d also play spooky music and wear creepy get-ups like bloody surgeons or headless waiters!

I also remember one time, this guy who went to our school and who was a few years older than us, tried to steal our candy. He literally grabbed our bags, but I wasn’t having it. After all, we had spent literally 2 hours going door-to-door. I wasn’t going to let this punk just take away our hard work for being a jerk.

So I grabbed my bag and my friend’s bag back and yelled at him sternly to get his own and to pick on someone his own size. While that could’ve been a foolish move that ended with a black eye, surprisingly, he was taken off-guard by that and didn’t say anything or bother us. He wasn’t used to kids standing up to him, I suppose.
