If you’re someone who doesn’t like flirty floral fragrances or cotton-candy sweet smells, then you might quite enjoy Bath & Body Works Rainkissed Leaves Body Lotion. It has a refreshing natural scent that is very noticeable without being overpowering. I simply love it! I love it so much that I have “several” bottles.

I’ve been putting off reviewing Bath & Body Works Rainkissed Leaves Body Lotion for quite some time now. Even though I really love this scent, I just didn’t want to reveal my beautiful dark twisted secret. But I’m ready to bare all, so come take a look at why I love this product! Continue reading

Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme Review & Pictures

Burt's Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle CremeMy hands get dry during this time of year, and my cuticles are no exception. Oftentimes I’m just far too lazy to use cuticle cream, but when I remember, I reach for the Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Creme that my friend bought me a couple of years ago in a kit with other goodies.

It smells divine, it’s small and easy to take with you, and it’s made with natural ingredients. And to put the cherry on top, it isn’t tested on animals.

This lemon cuticle cream is the first one I’ve tried, but I love it so much that I don’t have any desire to check out another. Continue reading

The Body Shop Satsuma Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer Review & Pictures

Many thanks to the person who invented waterless hand sanitizers. While these do not replace soap and hot water, they make me feel better about the cleanliness of my hands…and I especially love them when they are scented.

Today, I bring you a review of The Body Shop Satsuma Antibacterial Hand Sanitizer. The Body Shop only has 6 scents for their anti-bacs (compare that to hundreds from Bath & Body Works!), and I think the Satsuma one is the best-smelling! But the fragrance aside, is it a good buy? Continue reading

Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon HandiBac Anti-Bacterial Hand Foam Review & Pictures

I’m not a germaphobe! There. I got that out of my system. I do not, however, like the idea of getting sick from germs and viruses – even if it’s just the common cold. That’s why I always carry around some sort of anti-bacterial product with me.

I’m actually using several anti-bacs right now – one for work, one at home and one in my purse. OK, so maybe I am starting to sound like a germaphobe… but these products are so convenient, and most of them smell great (aside from Purell). Since the flu’s alive and kickin’, I thought I’d review the one I currently use at work: Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon HandiBac Anti-Bacterial Hand Foam. Continue reading

The Body Shop Mango Body Butter Review & Pictures

I remember when I was in high school, I loooooved fruity scents. It’s like I wanted to make myself smell edible! Back then, I was all about The Body Shop (this was before Bath & Body Works graced Canada with its presence). I wasn’t in love with all their scents, but The Body Shop Mango Body Butter was always a fave.

One of the many reasons why I stopped shopping there is because their prices are kind of high. But recently they had a sale, and who am I to pass that up? I picked up the Mango Body Butter, and I felt like I traveled back in time. It brought back so many memories. Plus, I realize I still love the scent! Continue reading

St. Ives Apricot Scrub Gentle Review & Pictures

St. Ives Apricot Scrub GentleSometimes it’s not always bad to be the last one to the party.

Everyone and their mother has raved for years about the St. Ives Apricot Scrub as one of the most inexpensive (yet effective) exfoliating facial scrubs around. Although I had been curious to try it, for some reason, I always walked right by its section in the skincare aisle.

Then Shoppers Drug Mart had a sale. The $2.99 CAD price tag got my attention, and it was too good of a deal to miss out on. Plus they had the St. Ives Apricot Scrub Gentle version, which I was more interested in trying because I have sensitive skin.

After giving it a go, I fell in love! Where has this been all my life? Why did I wait so long to take it home with me? The St. Ives gentle apricot scrub will now become part of my skincare routine! Continue reading

Kiss My Face Cranberry Orange Lip Balm SPF 15 Review & Pictures

Kiss My Face Organic Lip Balm SPF 15 Cranberry OrangeNobody likes lizard lips that are more reminiscent of the Sahara Desert than the luscious pouts in beauty magazines. Plus dry puckers are downright uncomfortable.

Don’t know about you, but nothing can ruin my day faster than having chapped lips and being absent-minded enough to forget my moisturizing lip balm at home. An effective chapstick is one of the essential products I can’t live without.

My all-time favorite lip balm is the Shaklee Lip Protection Stick SPF 15, but unfortunately, they discontinued this product! When I found out, it was too late to stock up. Ever since then, I’ve been on a mission to find a good SPF 15 lip balm that’s moisturizing.

My latest rendezvous was with the organic Kiss My Face Cranberry Orange Lip Balm SPF 15. Was it a one-night stand? Time to get lippy! Continue reading
