Rainbow Honey Glitter Nail PolishRainbow Honey Cosmetics is a company from Clifton, New Jersey that makes custom-blended nail lacquer.

Rainbow Honey is new to me, but even upon first glance, I was already impressed!

When I came home from work and tore open the package, I was swooning over the gorgeous nail polishes.

In this post, I’ll give you a first glimpse of the bottles and some swatches (natural light and flash). Then, in future posts, I’ll share them with you in separate, in-depth reviews, so you can truly see how beautiful they are!

Also, keep reading to the end because I share a special coupon code that you can use to save on your order if you decide to buy some from their official website.

And keep your eyes peeled because one of these nail polishes is unreleased and part of an upcoming collection!

OPI You’re So Flippy Floppy Swatches & Review

OPI You're So Flippy Floppy Swatches & ReviewIf you’re gonna do a yellow nail polish that’s loud and proud, you may as well throw in a textured finish into the mix, right?

Well, maybe it’s just me, but when a nail polish roars so loudly, I can’t bear to stifle it. I say, “Louder! LOUDER!” 😉

Here’s OPI You’re So Flippy Floppy, which is one of the OPI Beach Sandies mini set (part of the OPI Brazil Collection).

Like all the minis in this set, it only comes in the adorable 3.75 mL bottle, so if you like the shade, quickly grab the set before it’s too late.

OPI Kiss Me I’m Brazilian Swatches & Review

OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazilian Swatches & ReviewYou’ll want to plant a big smooch on OPI Kiss Me I’m Brazilian from the OPI Brazil Collection that’ll officially be hitting stores on February 5.

The colour is cute, but the formula, which I hope you can really see from my photos in this post, is excellent!

I think this would be a great shade for Valentine’s Day because this reminds me so much of the Month of Love. (Maybe even Cupid himself would shoot it with his arrow!) 😉

By the way, stay tuned to Swatch And Learn because there’ll be plenty more OPI Brazil Collection shades reviewed individually and in-depth in the next little while!

OPI Samba-dy Loves Purple Swatches & Review

OPI Samba-dy Loves Purple Swatches & ReviewThe first Liquid Sand from the OPI Beach Sandies mini set (part of the OPI Brazil Collection) that I was itching to wear first was OPI Samba-dy Loves Purple. (You may remember me showing you a photo of it on Instagram not long ago.)

Although it probably hasn’t been that long, it feels like it’s been a while since I wore a purple like this.

Take a closer look at the bottle, and you’ll see that there’s some sparkle. This isn’t a flat matte texture nail polish.

On the nail, it also shows up, although it was hard to show you because the light reflecting off the texture seemed to translate into a sheen on camera, which competed with the sparkle.

OPI Live. Love. Carnaval Swatches & Review

OPI Live. Love. Carnaval Swatches & ReviewOPI Live. Love. Carnaval from the OPI Brazil Collection officially coming out on February 5 is yet another winner!

OPI sure does know how to create the best creme nail polishes, don’t they? They’re creamy and go on so smoothly.

OPI Live. Love. Carnaval is a great coral that isn’t too bright or too dark.

I like this colour because it’s very spring-like, and it really hits the mark to help us get away from the winter blahs.

Smorgasbord Sundays: My Wreck This Journal Completed Circles Page

SwatchAndLearn Wreck This JournalRemember near the end of December in this post, I expressed my excitement about starting the Wreck This Journal project?

Well, since then, I’ve done a few more pages, and today, I’m going to share with you one of the Wreck This Journal activities that I completed nearly 2 weeks ago.

The instruction said to “Fill this page with circles”. I’m just going to call this the Wreck This Journal Circles Page.

At first, I was going to do a watercolour design with interlocking circles, but then I decided to try out the new Crayola markers I purchased specifically to use in this book. (You may remember me showing you how, unfortunately, the Sharpie markers I used initially bled through the pages. So, that’s why I had to buy new markers.)

The result of this Circles Page was very spontaneous and took me about 2 hours to finish.

All I planned was to use colours in the same order of the rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple.

Instead of making it look like a literal rainbow, I thought it would be neat to draw circles of all different sizes and even circles within circles. (It ended up reminding me a little of what you might see under a microscope, haha, but way more colourful and psychedelic!) 😉

I also ‘hid’ a smiley face. Can you spot it?

This activity was so fun because I never really get to do arts and crafts much these days, but it’s so relaxing. While doing this, I was going through a pretty stressful time. (Actually, I’m still stressed out as I prepare to move to my new place.) So it was nice to do something like this that is calming and enjoyable. There’s no right or wrong way to complete this page, and you can just express yourself in any way that you see fit.

I encourage you all to check this book out. But, even if you don’t, it doesn’t mean you still can’t have fun. Just try it out on a piece of paper! The only advantage of having this book is that all your art will be bound together in a book. You could get creative, though, and use a 3-ring binder to store the pages of your artwork or even use a sketchbook instead. There are lots of options.
