There’s a place in my heart for metallic silvers. The bright reflection has a cool, sexy vibe, while the steel color represents strength. Cool, sexy, and strong – I love it. So naturally, like a magnet, I was drawn to OPI Swiss Collection Lucerne-Tainly Look Marvelous.

Like this color, I do. Love it, I don’t. It’s slightly more interesting than the run-of-the-mill silvers/glossy grays/gunmetal shades. It’s a good staple color to have in the collection, but it doesn’t wow me as much as I thought it would. I was a bit disappointed. Continue reading

Hands up if you’ve ever been swayed into purchasing a beauty product because of the packaging. This year, we’ve witnessed many beauty products get by on their good looks and those that fall by the wayside because of packaging that raise the eyebrow (or both eyebrows). Continue reading

I don’t fuss over my eyebrows that much, but I have always wanted to perfect them – I mean, they do frame the face for a younger and more-awake look! My eyebrows aren’t bad; they’re just sparse at the end, so I’ve been looking for something that allows me to fill in my eyebrows naturally.

Of course, NYX made a kit. Of course, it was affordable. Of course, it looked promising. And of course, I didn’t pass it up. So today, I’ll be reviewing the NYX Eyebrow Cake Powder in Dark Brown/Brown for you! 🙂 Continue reading
