Zoya Ireland Review
Colour
Ireland by Zoya is a green that’s easy like Sunday morning.
Balancing between yellow and blue undertones, Zoya suggests that it will be flattering with a wide range of skin tones. I’m all for that! The more people who embrace a green nail polish, the happier I am. 😉
The muted nature makes this more wearable for those who perhaps aren’t yet comfortable sporting any green. (It’s so demure that you could almost use it like a neutral to combine with a palette of beige and taupe. That would be classy yet modern.)
Finish
Its silky creme finish is quiet like a whisper, yet it offers an air of sophistication. Plus there are no hang-ups when it comes time to remove it. Easy peasy!
Application & Formula
Two coats of Ireland by Zoya provided great coverage, and the formula was easy to control with the brush. It wasn’t too watery or too thick, so I didn’t have any issue with accidentally flooding my cuticles.

A lot of the green nail polishes I sport tend to be loud, whether they’ve vivid in saturation, extremely bright, or seductively vampy. So it was a treat to wear a muted green that offers a level of mature sophistication and classy charm like Zoya Ireland offers! This is a great green to wear in those situations when bold greens may not be appropriate.
Are you comfortable wearing all shades of green nail polish, or is there a specific saturation that you’re happiest with? Do you have a ‘lucky’ nail polish?
This is a pretty Spring green. I picked it up not long after you first mentioned it here. I’m actually wearing it now on 2 of my nails. It’s a very simple, soothing color and it looks great on you. Thanks for sharing with us!

Yes, Zoya Ireland is quite similar to OPI Stranger Tides and Essie Da Bush, in that they’re all soothing sage greens.
I’d say that Ireland is closer to Da Bush because both of those are just a smidgeon darker than Stranger Tides.
Between Ireland and Da Bush, I think you can probably get away with just owning one, since they’re so similar…unless you collect all the sage greens. 😉 Hope that helps!

I have heard that some people take biotin supplements to help them grow their nails. It’s supposed to be beneficial for the skin and hair, too. Have you tried it?
P.S. Short nails look awesome, too! Hehe, I can’t commit to one length. I tend to trim them short and then grow them really long. Some polish colours just suit different lengths better, I think. For instance, I love dark shades and neons the most when my nails are shorter.
