Zoya Cosmo from the Magical PixieDust Collection is a gorgeous textured glitter nail polish that has a lot of bling going on! 🙂
If you liked Zoya Lux, which I showed you not long ago, I think that you’ll really like this because it’s the same concept, except instead of pink, it has a silvery tone.
Wearing Zoya Cosmo is like having diamond-encrusted nails, and it’s more affordable than high-end jewellery, so that’s also a plus! 😉
I think that a lot of people who like trendy, textured polish with lots of glitz will adore this!
When I read the name, ‘Cosmo’, the first thing that came to mind was Cosmo Brown from Singin’ in the Rain. Do you remember that comedic character played by Donald O’Connor? When I watched it for the first time as a kid, I remember having a crush on him because he was so funny, especially during his “Make ’em Laugh” musical number.
P.S. Remember to get your entry in for a chance to win the entire CND Vinylux Open Road Collection in my giveaway! (Open to Canadian and U.S. residents. Ends May 9 at 11:59 pm EDT.)

Zoya Cosmo Review
Colour
Cosmo by Zoya is like the Snow Queen accessorizing because it looks like icicle jewellery! I just love how much it sparkles and looks like regal diamonds on the nails.
Although most of it is silver, because there are larger pieces of glitter that are holographic, depending on how the light hits your nails at an angle, you get treated to a rainbow!
Finish
This is a textured nail polish that has noticeable grittiness, but it’s not scratchy. That being said, I still wouldn’t recommend that you run your nails along delicate silk!
You can smooth this baby out with a couple of coats of a shiny top coat, if you’re not into texture, but I suggest that you use a regular top coat before using a fast-drying one. This may help you avoid your polish coming off in sheets.
Like most textured polishes, this dried very quickly, which is great for those who want to do their nails, but they don’t have a lot of time.
Since this polish is chunky, you might spend a while removing it, unless you use the OPI Glitter Off Base Coat, which lets you literally peel off your manicure.
Application & Formula
Although there’s a lot going on in a bottle of Cosmo by Zoya, I was surprised how evenly and easily it applied. And the glitter is so dense that you only need two coats to fully cover your nail.
I can see this polish getting goopy over time, but it’s nothing that a little nail-polish thinner can’t handle.

Final Verdict: 8/10
I don’t wear silver nail polish too much, but I really like this one, so I’ll probably be sporting this again! I can picture it as a great New Year’s Eve manicure!
How often do you wear silver on your nails? If you could design your own textured nail polish, what would it look like? Which is your favourite from the Zoya Magical PixieDust Collection?
Very pretty! I just might have to buy this one!
Hey Melissa!
All of the Zoya Magical PixieDust Collection glitters are amazing – you’ll love any of them!
Aw man… I keep passing on these and I think I have to have them…. *swoons*

Hey Lizzy!
They’re really luxurious, so even if you just get one, I’m sure you’ll dig it! 🙂 Vega, the blue one is really pretty, too.
Beautiful swatch!
I love it!
Hey Helena!
Thank you so much! 😀
Hi Mary,
Love this color. But maybe a little to blingy for me. What do u think of this color for a guy? What colors would you recommend for a guy?
Thanks,
Pete
P.S. you’re reviews are great
Hey Pete!
I think this colour can be worn by females and males. It’s whatever you’re comfortable with. But, if you’re self-conscious about how blingy it is, maybe try it on your toenails first to see how you like it. 🙂
Guys can wear any colours, in my opinion! 🙂
A little chunky for my taste but it’s a lovely color!

Hey TheBubblyBrunette!
Yes, it’s chunky and textured! But you can use a top coat to smooth it out a bit. It’ll still have that chunky look, though. Maybe you’d prefer the regular Zoya PixieDust textured polishes?
Drool drool…. I WANT!!!!!! 😀
Hey Chaitali!
Hehe! 🙂 It’s a pretty nail polish – you’ll love it!
