Zoya PixieDust Collection Press Release & Video Clip

Zoya PixieDust Press Release & Video Clip smallerIf you’re a fan of the latest matte-texture nail trend like I am, you’ll be excited to hear aboutΒ Zoya PixieDust!

Yesterday when Zoya sent me the press release with new information on this, I was really curious to find out what colours they would be putting out.

I expect a lot from Zoya because they’re brave to explore new colour territory, and they’re always on the pulse of fashion trends.

In this special-edition collection, there are 6 Zoya PixieDust shades, and I was really happy to see that one of them is periwinkle! (I feel like there aren’t enough periwinkle polishes in general, and to have one with this unique texture would be really special!)

This post includes descriptions of each colour as well as a link to a video clip put together by Zoya that shows you how to apply PixieDust.

The black and grey look really cool and edgy. I can see why you’re drawn to them. πŸ™‚ I really like the periwinkle and the light green a lot!

I’ve already preordered Godiva and London with their polish deal they have gong right now! I’m really excited to try them and I think I will be interesting to see how it compares to opi’s liquid sand.

      Hey Camille!

Nice! You were fast on the draw! πŸ™‚ Wish that Canadians could take advantage of the special offers. I would probably buy more than I should. πŸ˜‰

Hooray for periwinkle! such a beautiful color indeed. Would love to see what other colors are available.

Im so sad that Zoya lacks in sharing their awesome offers and promos with us Canadians though πŸ™ otherwise I’d be buying so much from them! I know NPC carries them, but it’s not as special haha

      Hey Lawren!

On Zoya’s Pinterest account, I think they have some early swatches. The light green and periwinkle look like they’d be my favourites!

Yeah, I hear you on leaving us Canadians out. I’m sure that one day when they come to Canada, my wallet is going to cry. πŸ˜‰

I thought I was going to go free from polish buying for spring. It looks like Zoya figured out how to lure me to buy things. Matte? Yes. Glittery? Yes. Interesting color releases? Yes.

My fingers look weird when I put on pastel polish. I’m hoping the texture will lessen the sick person hands. Now that I think about it, the Zoya PixieDust looks similar to China Glaze’s Sand texture. I will have to do swatch comparisons FOR SCIENCE!

      Hey Tennyoceres!

Haha, nail-polish companies ALWAYS find a way to lure us in, don’t they? Just when we think they can’t do something really revolutionary, they come out with something completely new and mind-blowing. I bow down to their marketing and creative team!

Hahahahha, yes, it’s all in the name of science! I love that reasoning. πŸ˜‰

OOOOOH! I’m excited for these. I got two of Julep’s “matte suede” polishes in my November box and fell in love with them and these remind me of that. I love the periwinkle colour but I’d definitely be intrigued to see swatches of them all πŸ™‚

      Hey Maddy!

I really need to wear these. After wearing the OPI Liquid Sands and falling in love with them, I now feel compelled to compare them with other brands’ versions. πŸ™‚

I was just looking at the Pixiedust collection today and all the shades are just beautiful. I’m really debating picking up a color… but I really don’t need any more polish. There have been so many different variations of mattes and glitters coming out in the last year or so, and some work great and some don’t… In my opinion, this collection looks like a big success πŸ™‚

      Hey Olivia!

Yeah, you think so? I really adore the OPI Liquid Sands, but I’m keeping an open mind when I see the Zoya PixieDust shades in person. πŸ™‚ Zoya comes out with lots of interesting polishes, so I have high hopes!

      Hey Sincerely Stephanie!

Same here! If Zoya was easier to buy here, phew, my wallet would lose a lot of weight! πŸ˜‰ The only reliable brick-and-mortar place I can find Zoya is at Trade Secrets. And, as for online, just NailPolishCanada and eBay. I think that one day, Zoya will ship to Canada. If we make enough noise and wave our ‘funny money’ around…hehe, they’ll ship to us! πŸ˜‰
