I’m popping in briefly to say hi, and that I hope that your holiday was peaceful and full of happiness with loved ones!
May the New Year bring you new challenges that will propel you to fulfill your dreams! 🙂
Before Christmas, I went to see The Nutcracker, which was one of my favourite childhood Christmas stories that I still hold near and dear to my heart today. Imagine how happy I was to finally see the live ballet performance for the first time this year!
To add the icing on top of the cake, the seats were amazing, as I could see every minute detail on the costumes and the elaborate sets very clearly. It was such a treat to be close to the stage and to witness the magic unfolding in front of me.
It was held at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, and it featured many talented dancers. It came as no surprise that every seat was filled!
This was one of the items that I can now cross off my bucket list. 🙂
On my nails, I wore Zoya Mary, which is one of the shades in the new Naturel 3 Collection. (Check out my review and swatches of the collection that I posted earlier, if you missed it.)
Also, I’d like to remind you that on the days when I don’t blog on here, stop by my Instagram, Pinterest, and other social media because I usually post swatches and more on there on a daily or almost-daily basis.
P.S. My worldwide giveaway is still going on. You have until December 31, 2016 to enter for your chance to win the Zoya Enchanted Collection! There will be three winners. See that post for all the details.
Disclosure: Zoya Mary is a press sample provided by PR.

Great nails as always! that’s so cool that you got to see The Nutcracker live. It’s beautiful ballet and everyone should see it live at least once. Hope you have a safe and Happy New Year!
Hey Melissa!
The ballet was even better than I ever imagined! Plus the music was divine – so much better live!
Wishing you and your family a wonderful 2017 as well. Thanks for being such a loyal reader and a positive, kindred spirit!
*braggingtime* I was in the Nutcracker twice when I was still dancing, once as one of the mice and once as one of the toy soldiers. The thing I loved the most about it was that we brought in grade school kids for one of our performances each year, and it was always so great to see how much they liked watching us.
I’m so happy that you got to see it live and that you had great seats! Your nails look on point, all the puns intended, hehe!
Hey Brynn!
Wow, how cool that you were IN The Nutcracker! I’m sure it was an incredible experience! 🙂
How exciting that you got to do that! Seeing The Nutcracker in person is definitely a special holiday experience.
Love your choice of nail color, it suits the toned-down atmosphere of a ballet and is also brown like a nut (haha) 🙂
Hey Jessica!
It was the first time during the Christmas season that I wore a full-on raisin manicure! 🙂 Hehe, I was really excited that Zoya finally came out with my namesake polish, so it was a must-wear. Now that you mention it, it does look ‘nutty’ and goes very well with the Nutcracker theme!
