I’m about to disclose something that might have you conclude that I’m ultra weird. *Deep breath*

Every time I use the Milani Luminous Blush, I feel like Sailor Moon. Hear me out! The little compact has a golden rim with a pink center…like the one Sailor Moon had. And there’s a button at the bottom edge that you press to flip the lid open – you can totally do it with one hand like Sailor Moon did.

Wow. I’ve just entered into the TMI territory. Back to the product review. I’m the type who prefers not-over-pigmented blushes because I like a subtle flush instead of bam-wow color on my cheeks. That’s why I like the Milani Luminous Blush. Although it’s not the best that I own…despite it making me feel like a cartoon superhero. Come see exactly what I think of it. Continue reading →

Milani Runway Eyes Shadow Shamrock Review & Swatches

Call me a one-trick pony if you want, but here I am with another green eyeshadow. (I’m not afraid to admit that I might have a slight addiction.) Today’s green star is Milani Runway Eyes Shadow Shamrock. It’s a dark leafy green with a sprinkle of sparkles. Sounds beautiful, right?

Well, I can’t say I’m absolutely in love with it, and it’s not my go-to green. But the shimmery finish makes it a pretty shadow to have in your collection. It fits nicely into mine, at least. Come see what I like and don’t like about Milani Shamrock! Continue reading →

Don’t you just love holo polishes? When done right, they offer so many dimensions that it almost seems as if you’re wearing more than one color on your nails. So when I came across the Milani 3D Holographic Collection, I was super excited since it claims to offer something that no other nail lacquer can.

It’s supposed to feature Holographic Image Technology that creates dramatic color-shifts as the lighting changes, offering a rainbow effect. Intrigued? So was I! Does it live up to this claim? Continue reading →

Milani Cyberspace Review & Swatches

After experiencing big flops that are 3D (gold) and HD (silver), I was looking forward to a little redemption from the Milani 3D Holographic Collection. Milani Cyberspace looks to be super promising in the bottle. The previous non-metallic colors of the collection served me well, so I was full ready to take the leap into Cyberspace!

Blue is one of my favorite colors, and Cyberspace by Milani is incredibly gorgeous. It’s a fairytale baby blue that looks simply enchanting. So now you know I love the base blue, but is it holographic enough?  Continue reading →

Milani 3D Review & Swatches

Usually I don’t like wearing gold nail polish because it picks up the yellow undertone in my skin. However, Milani 3D is a rich gold color that I think looks great. It’s not super yellow, and it doesn’t have a deep brown hue to it.

While I like the base gold shade, I’m thoroughly disappointed with the Milani 3D nail color. I feel like Milani may have made a mistake and included this color in the wrong collection! It doesn’t look like it belongs in the 3D Holographic set at all, as those two terms wouldn’t be what I’d use to describe this. Continue reading →

I’ve had such joy swatching and wearing the first three colors I tried from the 3D Holographic collection. So I was super excited to wear Milani HD. It looks to be a fun silver with mega holo effect – how can that ever go wrong?

However, the Milani HD 3D nail color disappoints me so! I love the formula and how easy it is to apply, but the aesthetic outcome doesn’t come anywhere near the other colors in this collection. Sigh! It is by far my least favorite from this set because it lacks that wow factor that I’ve come to expect from the 3D Holographic collection. Find out what I mean. Continue reading →

Milani Hi-Res Review & Swatches

Holy smokes! Milani Hi-Res is the 3rd color I’m trying from the 3D Holographic Collection, and it is by far my absolute favorite. The purple is pretty, the holo effect is gorgeous, and the shine is irresistible.

While the base purple color isn’t a shade that I’m normally attracted to, I’m in love with Milani Hi Res. The rainbow holo works so beautifully with the fairytale purple – it’s just the perfect combo for a dreamy look! Come check out just exactly what I mean. Continue reading →
