eos Berry Blossom Body Lotion Review

eos Berry Blossom Body Lotion

When it comes to eos (Evolution of Smooth), I’ve only tried their cute, spherical lip balms. (I sometimes use them as lipstick primers.)

Recently, I tried the eos Berry Blossom Body Lotion, and it’s the first eos product I’ve tested out that’s not a lip balm. Call me a cat because I was very curious!

It promises to absorb quickly into the skin and provide hydration. This interested me because, when slathering on body lotion after showering, nobody wants to feel like poultry being marinated for a feast! (However, with some lotions and creams I’ve tried, that has been the case, and I feel gross when skincare leaves me looking and feeling greasy.)

I wondered how strong the Berry Blossom scent would be and if it would last for several hours after its application.

How did the eos Berry Blossom Body Lotion perform? I’ll share my experience with you in this post!

P.S. On my nails, I’m wearing Essie Viva Antigua!, which is from the Summer 2016 Collection.

The Best of 2011: Nail Polish, Nail Art, Makeup, Skincare & Fragrance

Swatch And Learn The Best of 2011It’s been quite a year, hasn’t it?

I’ve tried all sorts of new beauty products including nail polishes. And I’ve had tons of fun coming up with nail-art designs!

Now that it’s the last day in 2011, it’s time to reflect upon the year.

I’d like to share with you my Best of 2011 list! I still have a ton of favourites from last year, so these picks are strictly new ones that I’ve blogged about in 2011.

You’ll see it broken down into the following categories: nail polish (duh), nail art (double duh), fragrance, makeup, and skincare. All lists are in no particular order. (It was difficult enough to whittle down my picks for the nail polishes!)

Feel free to click on the links – they’ll take you to the blog post with the swatches, reviews, and tutorial (where appropriate).

Now I’m so curious about what you think!

Is there a lacquer that you feel I sorely missed including? Have you found your Holy Grail facial cleanser? What nail-art design have you worn in 2011 that you would consider wearing again in 2012?

Please weigh in with your picks! We’re all different, but our love for beauty products brings us together. 🙂 Continue reading

eos Holiday Lip Balm Collection Review & Pictures (Strawberry Sorbet, Sweet Mint & Passion Fruit)

Guess what? Evolution of Smooth has come out with something new for winter – the eos Holiday Lip Balm Collection!

eos Holiday Lip Balm Collection Review & Pictures eos Strawberry Sorbet Review, eos Sweet Mint review, eos Passion Fruit review

It includes 3 full-size, organic eos lip balms in the following flavours: Strawberry Sorbet, Sweet Mint, and Passion Fruit.

The purple one (Passion Fruit) is a new and limited-edition flavour.

This is a cute little set that would be perfect for splitting with your friends or for a little stocking stuffer. Yup, Christmas will be here before you know it!

When I see all 3 lip balms neatly lined up in this package, it reminds me of either a set of golf balls or Easter eggs! Either way, it looks simply adorable!

Now, you’ll remember that not long ago, I reviewed the eos Honeysuckle Honeydew Lip Balm on here. I went into great detail about the packaging, the moisturizing effects of the lip balm, etc. Please refer to that if you want an in-depth review about those factors.

In this review, I’m focusing solely on describing the individual flavours since the other elements (i.e. packaging, moisturizing effectiveness) are the same as the Honeysuckle Honeydew one.

eos Honeysuckle Honeydew Lip Balm Review & Pictures

eos Honeysuckle Honeydew Lip Balm Review & PicturesI’ve been curious about the eos lip balms (also called Evolution of Smooth lip balms) for a long time because, well, the packaging is such a fun novelty, and they come in lots of different flavours.

It’s also cool how they’re 100% natural and 95% organic. According to the package, they’ve been certified organic by Oregon Tilth.

Other cool things about this egg-shaped Evolution of Smooth lip balm? It’s not tested on animals and it’s gluten-free.

It’s supposed to keep your lips soft, smooth, and moist. Well, I waited to try out this product a few times when my lips felt dry.

Did it pass with flying colours, or did it fail to impress because of performance anxiety? There’s only one way to find out – let’s get cracking!
