Slatkin & Co. Pineapple Mango Concentrated Room Spray Review & Pictures

I frequent Bath & Body Works a lot. And a lot… And a lot. OK, fine. The staff greets me by name. They always have sales and new scents out, so how is one to resist? However, I have yet to find a room spray from them that smells better than Slatkin & Co. Pineapple Mango Concentrated Room Spray. It’s an oldie but goodie!

My bottle is actually an old bottle (the design has now changed). I got it a few years back, but I don’t use it much unless something disagrees with my nose. I should use it more often because I LOVE THIS SCENT. It’s so yummy and delicious that it makes me want to lick the air!

Bath & Body Works Pineapple Mango Room Spray Review

Scent

Smelling Bath & Body Works Pineapple Mango Room Spray is exactly like sticking your head inside a freshly cut pineapple. OK, so maybe not exactly. The fragrance is refreshing, fruity and exotic. It is stronger on the pineapple side, but you do get a hint of sweetness from the mango. Yum. Yum. Yum. On the site, it says there’s warm vanilla, but I hardly detect that.

And what you smell is, well, what you smell. The fragrance is the same after you initially spray it until it fully disappears from the air. Yes, the intensity is, of course, greater in the beginning, but the scent itself doesn’t change.

Longevity

Four hundred hours of scent in each bottle, huh? I’m sorry, but I haven’t actually marked down how long each spray lasted and how many times I’ve sprayed in total. Please forgive me! I usually hit two quick pumps each time, and the delicious Bath and Body Works Pineapple Mango Spray scent lingers for a little over an hour. Not too bad, but sometimes I forget to respray.

Fragrance Throw

This is my trusty fragrance spray whenever something stinky comes my way at work (which happens way more often than I would like). And the fragrance travels to many offices (large and small), so it does carry. If you’re using it at work, make sure your coworkers don’t have a sensitive nose!

Packaging

Nothing too unique about it. It’s a bottle. It is compact enough to travel with, in case someone on the bus isn’t so fresh and so clean. (We’ve all been there.) However, if I really want it to be a travel companion, I would prefer it to be even smaller.

    Pros

  • Smells yummy!
  • Affordable
  • Able to fill a large area
  • Can be used at home, office or, ahem, on the bus
    Cons

  • Only lasts about half an hour per spray

Final Verdict: 9.2/10

Yummy. It’s hard to mess up when it comes to a pineapple and mango scent, and B&BW certainly didn’t. I’m not really into fruity scents on my body, but I love it for the home or office!

What do you think of B&BW’s Pineapple Mango scent? Love or hate?

Pineapple is my favorite scent for EVERYTHING! Unfortunately, it’s so hard to find pineapple bath oil, pineapple candles, pineapple room scents without something else like bergamot or some weird spice. (I think mango would be okay since it’s also fruity.) And when I finally do, they discontinue it! Heading to B&BW Monday to see if I can pick this up! Thanks!

      Hey Sheila!

Oh yes. I remember when Fiona posted this – it was when she was still blogging for Swatch And Learn! April seems like such a long time ago, doesn’t it? 🙂

Yeah, I feel your pain. It’s always when you find the perfect scent that they discontinue it.

I’ve had the 3-wick candle in this scent packed away in a box. I should review it sometime.
