Quick Look: Maybelline ColorSensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick Swatches, Photos & Press Release

Maybelline Rebel Bloom LipstickForget shoes. You can never have too many nail polishes or lipsticks! 😉

Since it’s the Christmas season, I’ve been on a red roll, but any other time, I tend to experiment more with various shades.

Purple lipsticks make my heart race, but I also adore colours that are bold and provide a lot of contrast.

Did you know that Maybelline is coming out with eight new lipstick shades?

The Maybelline ColorSensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick Collection will launch officially in January 2015, so you can start the New Year with some new colours!

In today’s Quick Look post, I’ll show you swatches, photos, and the original press release of the Maybelline ColorSensational Rebel Bloom Lipstick Collection.

Stay tuned for my in-depth reviews on some of these!

No More Polite Pastels

Maybelline New York ColorSensational Rebel Bloom

With floral inspired patterns hitting the Spring/Summer 2015 runways, what better way to feature this fresh, feminine trend then with a fierce and flirty pastel pout. Introducing the newest member of the ColorSensational family – Maybelline New York ColorSensational Rebel Bloom.

Now lips blossom with attitude – Unlike regular pastel hued lip colours that have washed-out, pale, dull and translucent undertones, Rebel Bloom utilizes Color Bloom Technology, which uses a white base, for punched up, bright pastels. A kicky burst of pinks, reds & mauves, the Rebel Bloom formula is infused with Honey Nectar to add creamy confidence, comfort and long-lasting power – no more polite pastels!

Available in 8 rebellious shades:

  • Peach Poppy
  • Coral Burst
  • Rose Rush
  • Barely Bloom
  • Hibiscus Pop
  • Petal Pink
  • Lilac Flush
  • Blushing Bud

NEW Maybelline New York ColorSensational Rebel Bloom will be available at drugstores and mass market retailers across Canada as of January 2015 at a suggested retail price of $9.99 CAD.

      Hey Melissa!

I love how just by changing a lip colour, you can totally brighten up your face in seconds. It’s an easy pick-me-up like nail polish!

      Hey Jessica!

Haha, I need to be good and refrain from purchasing more lipsticks, too. Maybe one day I’ll post photos of my collection. It’s crazy how many lipsticks I have purchased over the years. They’re like nail polishes – companies come out with new takes on old colours that you just have to have! 😉

      Hey Lizzy!

I think Lilac Flush will be a favourite among beauty junkies, especially because you don’t see too many bold purple lipsticks at the drugstore. I’m so excited to see this!

I found these the other day and I just had to grab all 10 shades. In addition to what you have, I found 720 Power Peony and 730 Orchid Ecstasy. Then I promptly came home and placed them in my untrieds bin. I’ve some winter colors to use yet, but these will be waiting when spring arrives. I was going to be on a no buy, but I am not doing very well with all these spring colors and happy collections flooding the market. I love color.

      Hey Cindi!

WOW – So awesome that you got all the colours! I take it that you collect lipsticks? (Hehe, I do, too! Maybe one day, I’ll share my collection on here. It’s not as extensive as my nail-polish collection, but I do have a lot!)

Wow. What colorful range. Perfect for spring. I really like the “blushing bud”. Although its more of a safe tone 😉 Unfortunately I cannot really wear bright pinks. I don’t like it at myself, and I think the purple would be the same. But a very interesting color too.
    Thanks for the swatches.
    Best Jasmin

      Hey Jasmin!

Blushing Bud is gorgeous, and it’s the first shade in this collection that I wore. I’ve been wearing it a lot recently – so hassle-free, and it makes your complexion look ‘fresher’ and more youthful I find! 🙂 It definitely ‘wakes up’ my face.

      Hey Karyn!

I’ll have to wear that one soon, and maybe I’ll do a full review on it! 🙂 If not, perhaps an Instagram photo is in order. (Hehe, I rarely take selfies, so it takes a lot of courage for me to post photos of my face on my Instagram.)
