While looking through my computer, I stumbled upon some old photos from back in April of this stunning holographic nail polish – Color Club Miss Bliss! (Can’t believe I’m only reviewing it now!)
It’s from the Halo Hues 2013 Collection, which lots of nailphiles have raved about because the holographic effect is really strong.
It’s like carrying a rainbow wherever you go! That’s how I like to think of it! Can you tell that I’m a child of the 1980s and a Rainbow Brite fan?
You don’t often find affordable strong holos like this, so it really stands out!

Color Club Miss Bliss Review
Colour
Miss Bliss by Color Club is a pink nail polish that also shows the entire rainbow. Yes, that’s right – in person, you can see red, orange, yellow, pink, purple, and blue!
Holographic lacquers like this are especially great when you can’t decide what to wear – wear all the colours! 😉
And, especially since there’s more sun in the summer, wearing a holo is a great choice. (That’s when the holo is the strongest.)
Finish
Color Club Miss Bliss has a linear holographic finish that’s very smooth. It’s also thin, which is nice.
Removal was a breeze. It was just as easy as taking off a creme polish, and it didn’t leave any staining.
Application & Formula
Color Club Miss Bliss went on smoothly, and even with a single coat, it was highly pigmented. I used 2 coats, though, out of habit and to intensify the holo. The formulation was perfect! No complaints here.

Final Verdict: 9.5/10
I absolutely loved wearing this manicure because holos are some of my favourite finishes. Especially when the sun’s out, it’s fun to see the rainbow lines move along your nails!
Do you have a favourite holographic polish? Did you buy any of the Halo Hues shades? What finish do you like the best for polish?
I had to buy this soon as it came out – not for the color but for the name…I had a dog I grew up with named Miss Bliss – she was a blond Cocker Spaniel…she was with me pretty much all my memorable childhood and I was long gone away to school before she departed the family – she looked good in pink baby doll hats when I used to dress her up so I am sure this would have been a good ‘shade’ for her! It’s a fun polish – you are right – super strong holo effect – maybe almost too strong for me most days.
Hey Beachgal!
Wow, no wonder you really gravitated toward this polish. Whenever you can identify a polish on an emotional level, it definitely gives you more motivation to buy it. 🙂
It sounds like you really loved your dog because she brought you a lot of happiness. Hehe, I’m picturing her with the pink baby doll hat. CUTE!
This collection is so awesome I don’t even know where to begin. The color of Miss Bliss is very dainty and soft when in office lighting or indoors. As soon as I get in the car or go outside then it feels like I’m firing (dainty) multicolor lasers from my nails. If anyone could grab this locally or on Amazon I highly recommend it. If you’re going to do a holo polish might as well go all the way!
Hey Tennyoceres!
I agree – if you’re gonna put out of a holo, you need to go all the way and make it strong for a full-on holo!
I can’t believe you’re just now swatching it either! *makes grabby hands* And thanks for reminding me of all the CC holos I have yet to add to my collection. 😉

Hey Lizzy!
Well, I wore this polish quite some time ago, but I’m only now reviewing it. 🙂 I should wear it again soon since the sun is out more often these days.
Haha, yeah, you’ll love the 2nd release of Halo Hues. The first one had lots of pale shades, which were nice, but that didn’t make me drool as much. The 2nd ones were deeper.
Amazing holo colour… Me want!!!
Hey Chaitali!
This one is truly spectacular, especially in the sunlight! 🙂 It’s worth tracking down, and I highly recommend it!
