China Glaze Texture Collection Press Release & Promo Pictures

China Glaze Texture Collection Press Release & Promo PicturesIt’s no secret that I’m a fan of the texture nail trend. It’s different, and because it’s not sharp, I can get down with it.

The China Glaze Texture Collection due out in May features 6 shades! You’ve probably already seen early swatches of these floating around the blogging community, but I always like to share official press-release information with my readers in case you haven’t.

These China Glaze Texture polishes don’t seem to have any sparkle in them, so the texture is more predominant.

The blue, orange, and lime green caught my eye first. What about you? Are any of these shades stand-outs in your nailphile book?

There are 6 shades in the China Glaze Texture Collection:

  • In The Rough
  • Itty Bitty & Gritty
  • Of Coarse!
  • Unrefined
  • Bump & Grind
  • Toe-tally Textured

GETTING DOWN TO THE NITTY GRITTY

China Glaze® Introduces Texture: the Newest Technology in Nail Lacquer

Los Angeles (April 2013): China Glaze® introduces Texture, a unique new lacquer that applies as a crème but dries with a 3D texture effect. Unlike traditional nail art techniques that require multiple steps, Texture only requires one step—painting the nail. Texture dries matte, but can be combined with China Glaze® Fast Forward Top Coat for a glossy effect. With a finish similar to that of a sugared rim, Texture is the perfect accessory for a beach day, night-on-the-town, or special rendezvous.

I really love textured Nail Polish – since they first have been released. It’s really fun to wear them and I’m really excited about China Glaze’s Textured Polish and already ordered three of them – Toe-tally Textured, In the Rough & Of Coarse!. I love that CG makes Textured Polishes without glitter, because I like them better without :>.

I lucked out! I live about 45 minutes away from an Ulta, but about 10 minutes from a Sally’s. I just happened to make it to Ulta the other day and they had this out! It must’ve gone fast, they only had a few colors left, I was most interested in the orange, so I snagged it. 🙂 Also glad to see you back!

      Hey Kayla!

Haha, sounds like you live in a very dangerous neighbourhood. 😉 Being so close to a Sally’s would get me into a LOT of trouble!

The Sally stores that I’ve been to never seem to have full China Glaze collections. They only get a few each time. I wonder why that is…And, of course they sell out so quickly. You have to really be fast on the draw!

Aww, thanks! It feels really good to be back! 😀

China Glaze is surprisingly late to the party this time. Usually they’re the first ones to hop on a new trend (magnetics and holos come to mind) so I’m a little surprised it took them this long after texture polishes were unveiled to come out with their own spin on it. I have to say it’s disappointing that they’re not trying anything new with their collection. It looks like these will be pretty similar to the Zoya collection, just different creams. There’s so much potential for texture polishes, why not get creatifve?

If I could get my hands on one of these, the first thing I’d do would be to franken it with either holo or multichrome glitter. Think of the possibilities!

      Hey Fedoraharp!

Wow, I really love your idea of adding holo or multichrome glitter to creme/texture polishes – that would be really awesome!

I like the colors, but the’re are indeed a little late on this trend. But that doesn’t matter 🙂 I don’t think I’ll be buying them though, I allready have two textured nail polishes by Barry M (an English brand), a light blue and a minty green one. They are really nice, but I just don’t wear a textured nail polish that often to buy more of them 🙂 But I am looking forward to see the swatches 😉

      Hey Renee!

The minty green nail polish you mentioned sounds amazing – I’ve been so curious about Barry M. Never tried anything from that brand, but I hear great things about their polishes.

I have two of these – Unrefined and In the rough. Unrefined is definitely not my color but In the rougt is great! 🙂 Thing that I don’t like is that they quickly get dirty. :/

      Hey MarryJ!

Interesting how you noticed they get dirty quickly. I haven’t noticed that about other textured polishes. Thanks for the heads up!
