Dial Frozen Yogurt Cooling Body Wash Review & Pictures

Dial Frozen Yogurt Cooling Body Wash ReviewWhenever I go shopping and want to pick up yogurt, 9 times out of 10, I get Greek yogurt because I love how thick it is.

In the summer, I occasionally get frozen yogurt as a treat and for something different than ice cream.

The reason I’m bringing this up is because Dial has come out with a new body wash that’s both intriguing and that’ll have you smacking your lips. Seriously, it sounds like it’s good enough to eat – but don’t be tempted to try a mouthful! 😉

It’s called the Dial Frozen Yogurt Cooling Body Wash, and the label looks mighty delicious! (No, I didn’t have a test taste of body wash!)

Interesting Thing: See on the label? It’s spelled as “yogourt”? Since in Canada, bilingual packaging is needed for legal reasons, “yogourt” is the common spelling. But “yogurt” is the popular Canadian spelling of it in general that even the official press release about this product uses it. (I genuinely find stuff like this interesting. Is it just me?)

OPI Blush Hour Swatches & Review

OPI Blush Hour Swatches & ReviewAlthough it’s just been a few days since I last published a post on here, it feels like way longer!

Thanks for your patience with me as I’m in the transition period of getting things organized at my new home.

Today, I have a glittertastic nail polish from the OPI Spotlight on Glitter Collection that you saw me showing in photos and a video on my Instagram – OPI Blush Hour!

This is so full of glitter that it’s definitely for those who love diva-esque bling!

I was wearing this manicure during my move because I really wanted to put this glitter nail polish through the ringer. Underneath, I was wearing the new OPI Glitter Off Base Coat to test the durability of that, too. (I’ll be reviewing that base coat in-depth in an upcoming post!)

It was the perfect opportunity because I was opening boxes and being brutal on my nails and hands. (On any given day, I’m also rough on my hands, since my full-time job requires me to be typing on the keyboard. However, because I took a few days off work to focus on my move and the unpacking process, I was even harder than ever before on my nails and hands. The cuticles around both of my thumbs were completely dry and ravaged, but this is real life!)

So how did this chunky glitter fare? Well, there’s only one way to find out. Come…follow the White Rabbit! *Hop hop hop* 😉

Blog News: Little Update

Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all doing well. You may have noticed that as of Tuesday March 18, there have been no new blog posts. Don’t worry – there are some posts in the works later on. I have lots of photos that just need to be cropped and then I need to write the posts.

After finishing my full-time job each day, I’ve been coming home and unpacking more boxes from my move for several hours, which is making me feel more exhausted than usual.

Things are coming along nicely, though. I still have more things to organize, but the main things are done, and with fingers, toes, and eyes crossed, I’ll hopefully be able to return to blogging very soon!

Readers like you are very important to me, and if I can’t give a blog post my 100% or even 90%, I just don’t feel right.

Thanks for understanding and for being patient and supportive as I continue to go through the transition of getting my new home organized.

To be fair to you and myself, I think Monday March 24 is a more reasonable day when I’ll begin blogging again Monday to Friday regularly.

This little blog note is just to let all my loyal readers know that you have always been on my mind!

Peach Nail-Polish Comparison Swatches & Photos

Peach Nail Polish ComparisonIt’s already spring, but Old Man Winter is being rude and overstaying his welcome.

There’s only so much cold weather I can take. (My hands and feet sometimes feel like blocks of ice! Brrrr!)

To coax winter into allowing the spring weather to arrive, I thought I’d do a Peach Nail-Polish Comparison post.

Don’t know about you, but whenever I see peach nail polish, I immediately think about the spring and summer!

Let’s see if a little colour therapy works!

Smorgasbord Sundays: Goldfish Grahams Vanilla Cupcake

Goldfish Vanilla CupcakeWhen I go shopping, I am easily distracted when I walk down the aisle and catch sight of interesting or weird snacks. And I often want to blog about them, but then, well, I devour the whole package and forget to photograph them! (Oops!)

For instance, just last week, when I was browsing a European supermarket, I found  Snapea Crisps Harvest Snaps, which are baked wasabi-ranch-flavoured green-pea snacks that have the entire peapod intact. (The brand that makes them is called Calbee, which I’ve never seen before.)

Yeah, they might sound gross, but sometimes those kind of snacks intrigue me, and I just have to try them. (Plus on the package, it said that compared to regular potato chips, these have 50% less fat, are a good source of fibre, and are low-sodium. Also, 70% is made from whole peas.) That being said, I wasn’t eating these to be healthy! Haha, that’s like saying you eat potato chips to get your daily intake of vegetables – that’s stretching it like Gumby! (I ate them because the little kid in me was jumping up and down out of curiosity.)

If I ever see them again, I’ll blog about them, to the disgust of some, I’m sure. 😉

But for today’s Smorgasbord Sundays post, I have something much tamer, but still verrrrry yummy!

I was at Loblaws, and I walked by the cracker and cookie aisle. I literally stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the Goldfish Grahams in a new Vanilla Cupcake flavour!

Cupcake? Count me in! (Yup, in addition to enjoying fragrances that make me smell like vanilla cupcakes, I also like eating things that taste like vanilla cupcakes.)

In this post, I’ll show you a few photos of this new product!

Nicole by OPI Carnival Cotton Candy Swatches & Review

Nicole by OPI Carnival Cotton Candy SwatchesYes, I’ve got another in-depth review of a Nicole by OPI Carrie Underwood nail polish for you today!

This time, it’s Nicole by OPI Carnival Cotton Candy!

It’s a sweet pink that I can see many little girls (and the young at heart) drooling over because it has that innocent and playful look to it.

Since it has a creme finish and it’s pigmented, you could use this as a base for lots of wonderful nail creations!

The name ‘Carnival Cotton Candy’ reminds me of my dad because when I was little and we went to the local carnival, he would always buy me cotton candy. Hehe, and since when I was a girl, my favourite colour was pink, the candy floss would always be pink. (Years later, I decided that the blue and yellow candy floss were also pretty yummy, and I stopped limiting my dietary restriction to just the pink kind.)

Nicole by OPI Carrie’d Away Swatches & Review

Nicole by OPI Carrie'd Away Swatches & ReviewIt’s been a long time since I wore Nicole by OPI Carrie’d Away from the Carrie Underwood Collection. (You may remember seeing a glimpse of it in this Quick Look post.)

This collection was officially released in January 2014, but I wore Carrie’d Away in October last year.

As you know, I moved! I’m still in the process of organizing everything in my new home – the first home I ever bought! 🙂 No more renting!

While being crazy busy setting everything up, I’ve also been working hard to ensure that Swatch And Learn continues to run like usual with posts Monday to Friday, so I’ve been busting out some photos of manicures I wore that never got their chance in the spotlight (aka a full, in-depth review)! 😉 No better time than the present!

Please be patient and bear with me as I make this major transition because, after I get my home all organized, I have tons of new nail polishes to share with you! (My internet will be set up at my new place soon, so hopefully that’ll help me avoid any interruptions.)

Also, thanks for stopping by my blog. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: My readers are the best, and I feel very fortunate to have such great support from you all! 🙂
