The Deborah Lippmann Staccato Collection really reminds me of spring. But, instead of the usual creamy pastels, there’s a little twist – black glitter in the mix!
Being a music fan and having played several instruments (piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, etc.), I like the concept of this collection.
A staccato, as you may know, is a type of musical articulation that’s short and expressive. In notation, a staccato note has a dot below or above it. I always imagined that this dot was like a beauty mark for musical notes. 😉 And when I think of staccatos, I get the mental image of an exclamation mark because that’s the drama that staccatos create.
Although all 3 shades in the Deborah Lippmann Staccato Collection are pretty, the mint and pink ones caught my eye first.
