OPI A-Piers to Be Tan Swatches & ReviewOPI A-Piers to Be Tan from the San Francisco Collection coming out on August 7 isn’t a colour that would typically catch my attention.

I don’t wear a lot of browns, and when I do sport one, it’s usually really dark and shimmery.

So, this is completely out of my comfort zone, but sometimes you’ve just gotta try something to see if you’ll like it.

Well, I didn’t fall in love with it. It suited my skin tone, the formula was smooth and perfect, but the colour itself was too toned down for my taste. (Haha, I tend to get excited more about tacky manicures than sophisticated ones.)

But I was determined to find another way to wear it. Drop by Swatch And Learn tomorrow, and you’ll see the freehand nail art I did with this as the base. (I’ll also include a step-by-step tutorial for it.) I ended up loving that manicure, and OPI A-Piers to Be Tan was the perfect base colour I needed!

China Glaze Sun of a Peach Swatches & ReviewChina Glaze Sun of a Peach is the saucy nail polish from the Sunsational Collection. Every time I say its name, I giggle because apparently I am just sooooo mature. 😉 But, hey, finding happiness in small things daily does wonders for the soul, right?

As the feisty name would suggest, this is a peachy nail polish, but don’t be fooled by my photos in natural light, this hottie is bright like a neon. It’s more orange in real life.

You can definitely see its personality shine through even more when I tried to capture it with my camera’s flash. You’ll notice how it freaks out my camera – love it when bright shades do that! 🙂

They’ve added 4 brand new shades to the Seriously Random Collection based on votes from fans.

(It should come as absolutely no surprise that the green and deep purple are the ones that initially caught my eye.) 😉

Also, The Pink One, which is a hot pink with a blue flash has been resurrected due to popular demand.

China Glaze That's Shore Bright Swatches & ReviewChina Glaze That’s Shore Bright from the Sunsational Collection was exactly the summery shade I needed to sport to make my nails smile.

Even though my cuticles were on the drier side at the time I wore this, I mainly paid attention to the cute colour – a fun lilac!

I love how this adorable shade has a creamy look to it, and it reminds me of Easter.

Pastel purples are soft and feminine without being too traditional. I think that’s why I like most.

OPI Minnie Style Swatches & ReviewWhen I posted a quick group bottle shot of the OPI Couture de Minnie Collection on Instagram, one of my followers/readers mentioned being curious about seeing OPI Minnie Style layered over black.

Okay, initially, I was going to wear it over black, but I decided to add a slight twist with a very-dark blue. It’s close enough to black, so I think it’ll still scratch the itch of seeing it over black.

The dark blue I used beneath OPI Minnie Style is OPI Incognito in Sausalito, which is from the OPI San Francisco Collection coming out in August.
