Here’s where the Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel PocketBac comes in. This guy may be small, but he packs a punch and kills germs without water.
I always like to carry around a great-scented Bath & Body Works PocketBac in my purse wherever I go because you never know when you’ll need a quick fix. (And it’s also a plus that it smells nice, too!)
Today I’ll be continuing in my little Vanilla Bean Noel series and reviewing this inexpensive hand sanitizer that isn’t drying and is the perfect travel-friendly size.

Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel PocketBac Review
They say that cleanliness is next to godliness. Well, amen to that! Of course washing your hands often makes for good hygiene, but sometimes there isn’t a restroom nearby.
Can’t stand it when I’m out and about and there isn’t a washroom nearby, especially when my hands are dirty. Or sometimes even using the restrooms at certain bars is just an Ewww Experience. I need to sanitize my hands before eating there.
The Bath and Body Works PocketBac in Vanilla Bean Noel is a translucent-green gel with blue floating beads.
All you need is a pea-size drop. At first, it smells strongly of alcohol (because that’s the ingredient that kills the germs in most hand sanitizers). But don’t be put off by that because when it dries, you get a faint marshmallow-caramel fragrance that is easy on the nose. And it’s light enough so you won’t have to worry about it competing with any perfume you may be wearing.
I like the flip-top cap, which makes it easy to access the product. And the small trapezoid bottle fits nicely in one of the pockets in my handbag.
Now, most hand sanitizers are very drying on my skin. I normally have to load up on moisturizer after applying the sanitizer, especially in the winter. While I can’t say the Bath and Body Works PocketBac is moisturizing, I can say that it certainly didn’t leave my skin feeling parched. So it scores big points for that!
A word of caution: Don’t use this (or any) hand sanitizer too often or all the time. (Just use it when you’re in a pinch. And hopefully you’re not in a pinch often!) Why? Because while sanitizers strip your hands of bad germs, they can also get rid of the good germs your skin needs. So don’t slather yourself with the stuff every single day, and you’ll be okay.

Since I discovered the Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel PocketBac, I won’t go back to using the gross-smelling (and very drying) Purell hand sanitizers.
