Zoya Whispers Collection

Zoya Whispers Collection

Rose Quartz (warm rose) and Serenity (cool tranquil blue) are the two shades crowned as the Pantone Colour of the Year 2016, and two colours, April and Lake, from the Zoya Whispers Collection fit in nicely.

The Zoya Whispers Collection is available to be pre-ordered from the official website on December 28, 2015, which means that, in the New Year, you can sport tips that tie into the latest trend like a beautiful bow.

These muted shades express a quiet quality that still makes a statement. Think of them like having a zen feel – absolutely calming and easy-to-wear!

Despite the delicate light pink and blue trend, I think you can already guess which colour my eye zeroed in on right away. Yup – the green, which is called Ireland! 😉

There are six shades in the Zoya Whispers Collection:

SIX NEW TRANSITIONAL SHADES
ZOYA WHISPERS

Experience colour serenity with this muted and tranquil palette of transitional nail neutrals.

  • Cala – ZP823: A soft nude with a kiss of warmth that will flatter most skin tones.
  • April – ZP824: A light, rosy toned neutral that is a modern take on blush.
  • Eastyn – ZP825: A subtle grayed grape that is more interesting than mauve and
gives a modern alternative that is ever so wearable.
  • Misty – ZP827: An easy to wear taupe that is an updated version of grey with
just a touch of green to make it daring.
  • Ireland – ZP826: A uniquely wearable green that is muted enough to make it subtle
yet still interesting. This green is well balanced between blue and yellow so it’s
    flattering on all skin tones.
  • Lake – ZP828: A softened blue that gives the effect of serene water with just a
hint of vibrancy to preserve its luminosity.

Oh my goodness, the whole collection is beautiful! I start craving these kinds of colors after Christmas and it looks like Zoya knocked it out of the park! At first glance I’d say my favorites are: Lake, Eastyn and Misty – but I’m pretty sure I’ll get the entire collection! ♥

      Hey Lu!

After wearing lots of vibrant shades, I’m with you on craving these softer colours. The rule of contrast! 🙂

Hehe, yes, Zoya is very consistent at hitting it out of the park like an all-star baseball player!

Oh my word this is a beautiful collection Mary. Love the green blue, grey and purple shades the best. Zoya always seems to outdone themselves. I wonder if they will have a dream box of six shades available with this collection? Or just have to purchase them separately. Hope Santa was good to you this year.

      Hey George!

Zoya is one of the mainstream nail-polish brands that I’ve long admired because they are usually very consistent with their amazing consistency and pigmentation. Plus they never shy away from releasing any shade – they bring something for everyone to enjoy!

That’s a good question about the Dream Boxes. Sorry, all the information I have is in this post. If you’d like me to ask PR about this, I can. Just let me know.

P.S. As for Santa being good to me this year, he left me a lump of coal in my stocking. 😉 Haha, just kidding! But I have seen coal gummies at the candy store. Thought it’d be funny to give someone this time of year as a gag gift. I may go back and buy a few. I’m very curious as to what flavour it is. Maybe liquorice?

I feel a little deja vu looking at these – kinda like the Satins collection, just not in a satin finish. I do love my Zoya Normani & Rue, which have this same kind of muted vibe, but maybe I’m just in a bling-y kind of mood right now, because this collection isn’t jumping out at me.

      Hey Carolyn!

      “Follow the White Rabbit, Carolyn!”

“Don’t ask questions. Enter the Nail-Polish Matrix, and Manicure Morpheus will guide you!”

Hehe, sorry – when you mentioned deja vu, I immediately thought of The Matrix. Imagine if there was one for nail polishes, and we could create our own varnish realities? 😉

On a serious note, I hear you about being in a blingy mood. It’s the holidays, after all. Hehe, but I think that afterwards, it’ll be nice to have a change of pace with some soft shades. This is how I feel, at least. I’ve been wearing lots of vivid colours that it’ll be relaxing to wear something more tranquil. (Even if you want to keep the bling train rolling, which is GREAT, the good thing is that you can save your money and put it towards a different collection that makes your heart race. Hehe, the polish companies never run out of ideas to lure us in, right?) 😛
