Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel Review & Pictures

Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Shower GelI’ve been using the Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel every morning since I bought it – just can’t get enough! It’s my favorite product in the collection.

And I’ve finally put my finger on exactly what it smells like. Yes, there’s a noticeable mixture of vanilla, caramel, cake batter, sugar cookies, and marshmallows that I mentioned in my previous post, but what Vanilla Bean Noel smells exactly like is a soft caramel square. Y’know…the kind you used to melt down in a pot and then coat apples with.

Let me tell you more about the lasting power of the sweet cozy scent, and come get a good look at the Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel bottle.

Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel Review

The gel is this really pretty translucent deep green similar to (but darker than) an apple Jolly Rancher. You don’t need to squirt a whole lot on your mesh sponge to work up a lather. The Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel truly gives you that luxurious lather as promised!

The fragrance is absolutely yummy – it smells like you’re bathing in caramel! Maybe that sounds gross, but to me, that’s a dream. I want every part of my body to smell like a delicious dessert! And the scent is definitely not faint. Your whole shower will smell edible.

Despite the aroma permeating the bathroom, when I rinsed off the suds, my skin was only lightly fragranced. And it didn’t smell exactly the same as it did when I washed with it. It had a spicier note, but not a strong kind of spicy. This scent is still very much a gentle one – you literally have to put your nose right up to your skin to really smell it.

That may be a negative for some, but it’s a plus for me. I don’t like my shower gel to pack a punch – if I want fragrance, I’ll use the Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Fragrance Mist (that I’ve reviewed) and/or Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Body Lotion (that I also reviewed).

My skin feels clean and comfortable. And while I didn’t notice any moisturizing effects like they advertise, I also didn’t notice my skin looking any drier.

    Pros

  • Yummy scent with notes of vanilla, caramel, cotton candy, sugar cookies, cake batter & marshmallows
  • Not tested on animals
  • Affordable
  • Lathers well
  • Lightly fragrances skin
    Cons

  • Limited-edition fragrance available only around Christmas

Final Verdict: 10/10

The Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Shower Gel has become my all-time favorite shower gel – it’s an affordable luxury with a fragrance that makes you feel pampered. It smells sweet without being nauseating, and it’s very much a girly gourmand.

I love it so much that I have 3 back-ups and have considered grabbing even more. I suggest you do the same so you can enjoy this limited-edition product all year long!

What’s your favorite shower gel? Do you like scented or unscented shower gels better?

This product is full of harmful ingredients.
Example, Sodium Lauryl (Laureth ) Sulphate (SLS), Phthlates, Parabens, Hydroquinone, Lead acetate, TOLUENE, BHT, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, AHAs, PPD, DEA .They are super dangerous to people. Use instead things made in France, Soaps and gels SOUTH OF FRANCE, Mistral, something that this sh*t free.

      Hey Elena!

      What brands do you recommend?

P.S. This shower gel doesn’t contain some of the ingredients you mentioned. I guess you were just listing them in general.
