Can you believe that Hallowe’en is almost here? Since this year I haven’t had time to do as much Hallowe’en nail art as I would’ve liked, I decided to do a ’round-up’ type of post with Hallowe’en Nail Art Ideas in case you’re looking for some ideas.

Not only is this sweet-treat design very quick to whip up on last-minute notice, but it only requires 3 different colours.
This is one of the simplest Hallowe’en design I’ve ever done, and it only uses two colours, which you probably already have. However, you’ll need a striper brush for the teeth and a dotting tool (but you could also use the end of a bobby pin or an old makeup brush).
After I enjoyed wearing the traditional skull nails, I decided to put a twist on it and add some fun colour. Who says that skeletons have to be just black and white? Dare to mix things up and put Technicolour twists on classic designs. 😉
If you own the first BundleMonster nail-stamping set, you’ll have the image plate with the witch flying on her broomstick. With some yellow in the background, it looks like she’s flying across the yellow moon.
Here’s another super-easy design that uses very few polishes. To get an underground-comic-book feel, make the lines really sketchy and give a ‘wrapped’ effect by painting the lines in different directions.
By painting your nails green, adding a little emo hair and putting stitches onto the mouth, you can turn what would otherwise be a regular face into Frankenstein’s Monster.
Channel Charlotte’s Web by wearing some cobwebs on your nails and accenting one or a couple with spiders with yellow eyes. This look hardly takes any time at all, so if you’re in a pinch, try this one out.
Out of all the Hallowe’en designs I’ve done, this one was my absolute favourite because whenever I think of fright night, the first thing that comes to mind is this scene.
And, I’m sure you remember these little guys because this is the most recent design. 🙂 Again, it’s very simple and uses just a few colours.
I’ll be trying my hand at one more Hallowe’en design. Hopefully I’ll have it ready and posted before the 31st, but we’ll see. 😉

Thank you! 🙂 I really try hard to keep the majority of my designs simple…mainly so that I can do them (haha) and so that others don’t feel intimidated and will try to replicate the looks. Having fun is the most important thing!

I usually dress up for Hallowe’en, but this year maybe be the very first year where I don’t go to a party! Things are realllly hectic for me lately because in addition to having a full-time job, I’m also doing freelance writing on the side for some extra cash. But, in the rare event that I’ll have time to go out on the 31st, I’d just wear my favourite Hallowe’en costume – it’s a dark angel (all black, with black wings, black halo, and a cool dress with lace, mesh, and other fabric all in black)! The quality of that costume is so good, too. It’s as comfortable as regular clothing and doesn’t even feel like a costume. Haha, if I were a goth, I’d wear that in public all the time. (But I’m too chicken to do that.)

No, there’s no special polish that you need. As long as the black polish is relatively opaque (or fully opaque) in one coat, it’ll work. You just need a thin striper brush to paint on the thin lines. But, if you have a black striper polish, even better! Hope that helps!
