With the new OPI SoftShades 2016 Collection and OPI Infinite Shine Spring 2016 Collection I recently posted on here, you probably didn’t expect that today’s review would be on a nail polish from 2012.
Well, Zoya Logan may be from a few years back, but it’s a polish that certainly deserves the spotlight.
It’s an old favourite of mine from the Ornate Collection that I have worn countless times. (Heck, if I weren’t a blogger, I’d unquestionably wear Zoya Logan for back-to-back manicures for several weeks!)
Only recently when I shared with you my St. Patrick’s Day nail art did it dawn on me that I never showcased Zoya Logan on the blog! (Shame on me! *Tsk tsk*)
This is one of my favourite sexy greens to wear, and I love how, even though it’s an older nail polish, it’s still very easy to get hold of today!
Although I have a blast showing you all the new and pretty nail polishes that have just come out or that will be released in the future, I also enjoy showing you older polishes. Hope that you like these types of posts as well! (Sometimes, we all need a reminder to ‘shop our stash’ and revisit the beauties we already have.)

Zoya Logan Review
Colour
Logan by Zoya is mainly a rich forest green with a mysterious quality. It’s deep, but not so dark that it appears black.
Since it’s a jewel tone, it will flatters a wide variety of skin tones, and the saturation makes this a green that isn’t too flashy.
If you have never worn a green nail polish, give this one a try, and you may be surprised how wearable it is. It’s as easy to pull off as vampy shades.
Finish
What keeps Logan by Zoya from looking dull is the brilliant, sparkly finish that contains green and gold shimmer.
When you move your hands, you’ll appreciate the twinkling ‘lights’ of the finish, and it creates a majestic appearance like a coveted emerald set into a priceless crown.
Application & Formula
It’s not merely the colour that’s a total winner. The formula is also a dream. Smooth and highly pigmented, it’s a one-coater…or extremely close to it. (I used two coats, out of habit.)
The first layer covered my nail line, and I didn’t have to work hard to get an even appearance. Zoya Logan flows on easily, and the consistency isn’t watery, so you’re able to better control where it goes with your brush.
Zoya has several nail polishes with top-notch formulas, and this is definitely one of them!
Ingredients & Vegan-Friendly
Zoya’s vegan-friendly nail polishes don’t contain any Toluene, Camphor, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, or DBP.

Final Verdict: 10/10
Zoya Logan gets a perfect score for me all around because the colour never gets stale, and the formula needs nothing to be desired, in my eyes!
Chances are that you already have this nail-polish wonder in your collection. (If you do, pull it out, and show it some love!)
What is an older nail polish that you’ve had in your collection for years and still wear from time to time? What is an old lacquer that you wish never got discontinued?
Logan absolutely deserves your perfect score. Gorgeous photos!

Hey Liz!
This green is very photogenic – like the nail supermodel who knows all her best angles! Makes it easier on the photographer. 😉
Thank you for taking the time to leave me an encouraging comment!
This is a gorgeous color. I’ve worn it a lot and every time it’s on my nails, I get compliments. Looks great on you! Thanks for sharing!
Hey Melissa!
I’m sure you rock it like something fierce! 🙂 Logan is a winner – saturated without being overly dark and with just enough sparkle to keep it feisty.
I’ve just added this to my wishlist! Absolutely gorgeous. One polish that I find myself reaching for often is Vant To Bite My Neck by OPI. I’ve actually gone through one whole bottle and bought a back up earlier in the year.

Hey Sasha!
So happy that it made its way onto your list! Plus the great thing is that even though this green is older, it’s still available for the regular retail price. If only ALL older polishes were in the same boat!
Ahhh yessss! I’ve heard many great things about Vant to Bite My Neck, so I can totally understand why you love it so much to warrant more than a single bottle! 🙂
