Zoya Autumn Swatches & Review

Zoya Autumn Swatches & ReviewZoya Autumn is part of the Ignite Collection, which I’m very excited about because it’s fiesty and reminds me of spices like cinnamon and nutmeg!

I think this nail polish is appropriately named because it definitely screams fall to me. It has that warmth to it and some zing like a touch of ginger.

It’s one of those colours that’s very easy to sport because it’s not bright or crazy, yet it’s far from dull or boring.

There’s a ‘sizzle’ about this one, and the sparkle dances on your nails, which is fun to see!

Zoya Autumn Review

Colour

Autumn by Zoya is a copper or a reddish brown. What I really like about it is that the sparkly bits are gold and copper, so you don’t get a flat single colour. There’s more going on in this bottle, and it’s absolutely mesmerizing!

If you like warm shades that scream October and November, this is one you’ll adore! 🙂 As a huge fan of the season, I really love this one.

Finish

The shimmery finish makes your nails twinkle as though magical fairies are at work, waving their wands and gracing your manicure with some spell! 😉 It’s absolutely gorgeous, and it’s not gritty!

Application & Formula

A single coat was already extremely pigmented, and it glided on smoothly without putting in any extra effort. But I used two coats out of habit, and also to get the full intensity of Autumn by Zoya.

Pros

  • Copper that shimmers & is like fall in a bottle
  • Smooth, pigmented formula needs no more than 2 coats for full opacity
  • Sparkles & makes nails ‘look alive’

Cons

  • There’s a Con? 😉 This polish is so beautiful that it’s like I’d be nit-picking to list one here.

Final Verdict: 9.5/10

I love the spiciness of this colour because it’s really like fall in a nail-polish bottle! It’s one of those shades that’s easy-to-wear yet has a strong impact. It sparkles a lot, and I love how it’s a very spirited colour!

Which colour from the Zoya Ignite Collection do you want to see next? What are you looking forward to this autumn? Wow, can you believe that it’s almost September? (Time flies!)

      Hey Lizzy!

That’s a very good question. I don’t have Cheryl, so only going on online swatches, I’d have to say that Autumn looks lighter and more copper/orange in comparison.

To me, this polish is the epitome of a perfect fall color! I will definitely pick this up, I can’t wait to see what this looks like next to my red hair! I see that you use Seche Vite, is there any way to keep it from getting all goopy or should I just add polish thinner? I love using it but it’s gotten crazy thick!

      Hey Michaela!

Oh, it will flatter your red hair! I love redheads – ROCK IT! 😀

Unfortunately, Seche Vite always gets goopy over time when it’s exposed to air. Every month or so, I put just a few drops of Seche Restore, a thinner that works especially well for Seche Vite, but you can also use it to bring dried up polishes back to life. It’s a good investment because literally just a few drops make Seche Vite work like new again.

Sometimes, I’m lazy about using the thinner, and when my bottle of Seche is halfway, I fill it up to the top because I bought the refill kit. (Haha, yeah, that’s how much I use Seche Vite!) But when that doesn’t even help, then I bust out Seche Restore, which always works.

      Hey Floria!

Yes, the Zoya Ignite Collection is magical, to say the least! I love how they capture the light, and all the shades look so saturated!

      Hey Liz!

Thank you so much! Is it weird that when I first laid eyes on it, I was itching to drink a Pumpkin Spiced Latte from Starbucks? Haha!

      Hey M!

Aww, it’s too bad that I don’t own that beauty! Based soley on the online swatches that I’ve seen, Autumn is definitely more saturated, deeper, and with a smidgen of more red than A Woman’s Prague-ative.

Ye gods, I need this polish! I have yet to get my hands on a Zoya, but this one might tip the scale for me- shipping to where I live is super expensive but maybe I can find someone coming in to visit. Or put together an order with some friends. I dunno. I NEED THIS POLISH

      Hey Fedoraharp!

Zoya is oh-so-good at tipping the scale, and watch out because their colours are like potato chips – betcha can’t just have one! 😉 Careful – hehe!

Sorry to hear that it’s very cost-prohibitive for you. Fingers crossed that a family member or friend can help you get your hands on this!
