Alien robots. The Jolly Green Giant transforming into a metallic monster. A leprechaun poppin’ to some nasty techno beats. Seafoam slime from the future.
Those are all the first things I thought of when I wore Color Club Perfect Mol-ten.
This sharp green foil wooed me with its flashy style. And I’m a sucker for a looker like this. π
The perfect man may be hard to find. But the perfect polish? Found it!
Have you fallen for it, too? Go ahead! Don’t worry – I’ll catch you…

Color Club Perfect Mol-ten Review
Colour
Perfect Mol-ten is a light green that stands apart from the crowd. It’s like the weasel in Pop Goes the Weasel. Although, calling it a weasel probably makes it sound bad. Hmm…it’s like a Lady Luck manicure – flashy, can be trashy, but all the while very mesmerizing.
As you know, I can’t help myself when it comes to green nail polish, and this one is a winner! I’m not even too crazy about foil polishes in general, but this one floored me. (Don’t worry, I got up, and I’m okay…until I catch the next glimpse of it again. Then I’ll be down for the count.) π
Finish
This is an in-your-face foil nail polish, so it has that brushed-metal look that reflects the light. It’s very dramatic and brilliant…even more so than Color Club Cold Metal, the blue foil from the same Foil Collection.
Application & Formula
The formula on this is wonderful! With just a single coat, I pretty much got full coverage. π (It should be good for nail stamping.) And it was easy to apply – it goes on where you want it to. No rebellious lacquer here!
Still, though, I used two coats to see if there would be any difference. Nope! Also, it dried very quickly, which is pretty typical of foil polishes. Another plus! π
The only thing about this foil finish is that you’ll see some minor brushstrokes. If that annoys you, then don’t touch this polish with a 10-foot pole. (Try a 10.5-foot pole…hehe!) π Seriously, the brushstrokes aren’t as bad as the kind you get with a pure metallic polish.
The cool thing is that with this polish, it looks as good without a top coat as it does with one! (I used a top coat to seal everything in, though.)

Final Verdict: 10/10
Perfect Mol-ten by Color Club took me by surprise. I knew that I’d like it because it was a type of green that I don’t have many bottles of, but instead, I fell head over heels in love with it. Tomorrow night, we’re going out for dinner… π
Do you like this green foil polish? What nail polish surprised you? Have you ever went out for dinner with a nail polish? Hehe!
Not a huge fan of foil polishes–it’s that brush stroke thing, actually–but this one is stunning!
The brush strokes don’t seem as prominent as they do in others but that could be because the color is so gorgeous that it’s the first thing that I notice.
It’s perfect for St Patrick’s day and would make such a pretty shamrock design. π
Hey karen!
Brushstrokes sometimes annoy me, too, but there’s something different about this. It really has the Wow Factor. And it’s green. Hehe!
It’s funny that you mention a shamrock design. Stay tuned! π
I love this colour! Before Christmas I bought this colour and Lumin-Icent and have been using them both pretty regularly since.

Hey Stella!
Nice! Lumin-icent also looks incredible. I haven’t worn it yet, but I think I’m feeling a foil kick coming on!
This looks amazing on you!! I see why you love it so much. It’s perfect for your skin tone. Great color too! I’ve never been out to dinner with a nail polish. Don’t think I will either. I get enough weird stares when I share that I blog about polish, lol.

Hey Marisa!
First of all – HAPPPPPYYYY BIRTHDAYYYY! Hope you’re having a wonderful time! π
Thanks! π Yeah, some foil polishes I’ve tried before really clashed with my yellow undertones. This one seems to mesh well…and it’s green. π (I’m such a sucker…)
Mary, you’re such a sweetheart. Thanks so much for the birthday wishes.

Aww…you’re welcome! Hope you had a great day!
This color reminds me of Color Club Kiss Me Mistletoe except maybe a bit darker. I love foils and metallics.Your first thoughts when you think about the polish are very creative and funny. π
Hey Maddy!
Hehe, glad you got a kick out of that first part. π
I really love that colour. It looks great in the natural light. Great post!!! π

Hey Beauty in a bottle!
Glad you like it, too! Although it looks really flashy in natural light, when you see it in the sunlight, it’s even more stunning in person! π
I was actually hoping this would be a deeper green in the same vein of bright blue Orly Sweet Peacock was. Now, THAT would have me falling like crazy. π But it IS pretty, no doubt about that.
Had a good laugh over your intro! Great writing, as always. π

Hey Carmela!
Thanks! π Laughter is the best medicine, so I’m glad that I could brighten even a few seconds of your day. π
A deeper green would’ve been awesome, too. Hmm…but I don’t have many foil polishes, let alone a green one, so maybe that’s also a reason why I went gaga for it! π
