If ever there was a nail polish that makes you gasp, it’s Color Club Eternal Beauty! (Appropriately named, isn’t it?)
You may remember that I recently posted a quick photo of this on Instagram: manicure photo and bottle photo. The iPhone actually captured it pretty well!
It’s part of the new Halo Hues Collection for 2013. (Last year, they came out with a Halo Hues Collection, but the shades in that set were very light.)
The holographic Color Club nail polishes for this year are deeper, so I fell for them harder. (In fact, once I found out that NailPolishCanada had them for sale, I quickly placed my order.)
Color Club Eternal Beauty is a strong purple holo that I feel every serious nail-polish collector must own. And don’t wait around for too long, because I can imagine that this is the type of shade that will sell out fast. You don’t want to kick yourself afterwards for missing out on magic in a bottle.
(That’s what happened to me and China Glaze LOL from the OMG Collection. That purple holo was in my e-cart so many times. When I finally decided to buy it, it was sold out, and we all know how elusive and expensive LOL is today! Learn from my mistake!)
P.S. This blog post is verrrrry picture-heavy!

Color Club Eternal Beauty Review
Colour
Eternal Beauty by Color Club is one of the most incredible polishes because you can literally see every colour of the rainbow when wearing it.
Yes, there’s purple as the base, but you can easily see the colour shift into red, orange, yellow, blue, purple, and green. It’s intoxicating and will make every nailphile’s pulse race to the finish line!
The purple base is a light-medium purple. And all the colours of the rainbow you see would make Rainbow Brite faint! It’s truly spectacular to behold, and I can’t get enough of it.
Hehe, as you can tell, I took tons of photos of it. The ones in this post made the cut, but I actually took about 100 or so additional photos. A nail polish like this needs to be seen and appreciated in various lighting conditions! (Thankfully, Mr. Sun co-operated with me, and I was able to snap photos under the sun. This is when the holographic nature really comes out and ‘shines bright like a diamond’, Rhianna!) 😉
Finish
As everyone knows, Eternal Beauty by Color Club is a holographic nail polish. But, to put the icing on the cake, instead of being a scattered holo (which is easier to find), this one’s a linear holo. That means the rainbow effect you see forms in lines!
Some holos are weak, but this one is strong…like Popeye after he ate his can of spinach! Because this is a strong linear purple holo, it’s been selling out fast. There are still some places that have it for sale, so hurry! You know that I don’t normally push like this, but Eternal Beauty is one of those polishes that I feel is a must-have for any polish collector. You don’t want to miss out on magic in a bottle!
Application & Formula
The formula was great! It was easy to work with – pigmented and thick enough to cover the nail well. It looks nice with 1 coat, but use 2 coats to strengthen the holo.
This polish glides on your nails soooo easily, and the finish is smooth. (Hehe, after wearing so many OPI Liquid Sand nail polishes recently, it almost feels strange to have smooth nails again!) 😉

Final Verdict: 10/10
Yes, Eternal Beauty by Color Club gets a perfect score. It’s a gorgeous purple nail polish, and when you see it in the sun, you’re going to think you’ve died and went to lacquer heaven! It’s brilliant, eye-catching, and a conversation starter.
Don’t wait too long, or you will regret missing out on this one! Get it while you still can. (I don’t know if it’s a limited-edition polish, but it’s better to be safe rather than sorry!)
HOLY GRAIL STATUS! (Yes, I had to yell that.)
What’s your favourite colour for a holographic nail polish? Is there a colour that you’d love to see with a holographic finish? Are you going to add Eternal Beauty to your collection? (Hint: The answer to that last question is: “YES!” Hehehe!) 😉
It’s sooooo gorgeous! Really really amazing! I regret I didn’t buy it, but it’s in my wishlist. All of the Halo Hues have a holo effect so strong ^__^

Hey Paola!
Yes, the whole collection is amazing! When I received it in the mail, I quickly unwrapped it and admired all the bottles! Eternal Beauty is a must-have!
I read this and immediately ordered it! I found it on Amazon for about 9 USD and on Evil Bay for 8 USD. I also picked up Cosmic Fate because well, orange AND holo?!? I died. I can’t wait for them to get here. *does the happy holo goodness dance*
Hey Stacie!
Wow, good going! Smart move – I think this shade will sell out very quickly, so it’s good you got yours!
Hope you love the orange one, too!
…wow.
[…sorry, just came back in to pick up my lower jaw. :)]
Hey Tiffany!
Hehehehe! I understand completely. I had the same reaction! 😉
I have been loving these new halo hues so hard! They are everything I was hoping the new china glaze hologlam collection was going to be. I would really love to see a deep, rich purple holo or a navy blue holo. I would die!
Hey Camille!
And for good reason! These Halo Hues are even better than the ones Color Club released last year! Finally a holo collection to get REALLY excited about! 🙂
I haven’t tried any of the China Glaze Hologlam Collection polishes, so I can’t honestly weigh in.
So, I may have just purchased the entire halo hues collection. I am holding you partially responsible! It’s okay, though, since it would’ve been tragic if the collection had sold out before I was able to add any of them to my stash. 🙂
Hey Alex!
Hehe, that’s okay – I’ll take the responsibility! It’s actually very flattering – thank you for telling me you did that!
Hope you really enjoy wearing these awesome holos!
You finally got them! They are great, aren’t they? Way holo-er than CG’s :p And coincidentally, I put on Eternal Beauty today as well 🙂

Yes – finalllly! I was tracking the shipment daily…hehe!
Yeah, we’re nail twins! *High-five*
AUGH NEED! Thank you Amazon Prime for fulfilling compulsive shopping desires.
Hey Tennyoceres!
Hahaha! Hope you enjoy the polish, too. And it’s soooo cool you have an Amazon Prime account to buy this polish and get it really fast!
I adore this color and actually want to get the entire set. I missed out on ChG collection and NEED holos!

Hey Rose Ambrai!
Holos are especially amazing since the sun’s coming out more as we get into the heart of spring and summer. 🙂 You’ll love these Color Club ones – strong holo!
I love this polish along with all the other shades in this collection. I’m starting to feel like I should get a backup set of this collection, because the holo is so amazing! Hey Neelie Z!
Okay, I’m a little ashamed to admit it, but…I bought a back-up set of the Halo Hues 2013 Collection! Major splurge for me, but I “needed” it. 😉
So pretty!!! And so glad I did order this one. 🙂 Just haven’t worn it yet…

Hey Lizzy!
Haven’t worn it yet? GET ON IT! Hehehhee! No pressure. 😉
*dazzled gasp of dazzledness*
I have a weakness for purple holos, because my very first holo was Color Club Wild At Heart, and it’s still one of my go-to polishes. I can actually get CC here! There’s a place in Tel Aviv that sells them relatively affordably. Guess I’ll have to find an excuse to go out there soon!
Fedoraharp recently posted: We interrupt your regularly scheduled nail art for some barely coherent ranting
Hey Fedoraharp!
Wild At Heart is AMAZING, so you have great taste! 🙂 Color Club really knocks it out of the park, don’t they?
I’m wearing this colour right now, and you are so right, it is just stunning! Such a great holo effect, even in weaker lighting!
I didn’t buy the whole collection, but I also bought Over the Moon and Miss Bliss and can’t wait to wear them, too!
Hey Amanda!
I love how holos get nailphiles like us so excited! It’s fun to wear holos, but also dangerous…haha, since we get distracted easily and wind up staring at our nails. 😉
This was the first collection where I bought every single one when it just came out! I love the color club holos, they are beautiful. I bought mine at enospring .com for 6.50 each I think
Hey Tam!
All the colours are just so incredible, aren’t they? I also got the entire collection because if I didn’t, I thought I’d regret it if they sold out (which they probably will!).
I want the whole collection. I only got Eternal Beauty and Beyond because those were my favorites and I was out of money to buy Over The Moon too (another favorite). I also wanted Miss Bliss but where I went, they were out of stock. I bought these colors instead of China Glaze’s Hologlam collection because I’m just kind of disappointed. When I saw swatches, you could barely see the holo effect on most of them.
Hey maddy!
Seems like lots of people are disappointed in the China Glaze Hologlam Collection. I haven’t worn any of them yet, and now I’m a little nervous.
Color Club really seemed to knock it out of the park, didn’t they? Lots of strong linear holos, all in a single collection! YAY! 🙂 FINALLY!
WOW, stunning! I’m very pleased to read that the formula is easy to work with. I have a holographic lacquer form Gosh and that one also has a very strong holo, but it’s a pain in the you know what to get your nails properly done with it!
Hey Renee!
Oh yes, this polish flows very easily onto the nails, and it’s so effortless to get the effect you see in my photos. Very pigmented and what a strong linear holo!
