Clean & Clear Soothing Eye Makeup Remover Review
It’s been ages since I’ve tried a traditional liquid eye-makeup remover. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they’ve come such a long way!
Since I wear the Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner on a daily basis, it’s important that my remover be strong enough to dissolve waterproof formulas while being gentle on the sensitive eyelid area. The Clean & Clear Soothing Eye Makeup Remover fits the bill.
It comes in a purple-tinted plastic bottle with a double-layer liquid. To use it, you have to shake it up so the two sections combine and then soak a cotton round with it.
I was extremely impressed that with just one soft swipe, it took off almost all of my eye makeup! It worked way better than those facial wipes that make you rub more for the same results.
And instead of leaving my sensitive eyelids feeling dry or irritated, it left them feeling conditioned and supple. According to the instructions, you’re supposed to gently rinse with warm water after. I would’ve done this anyway because it does leave a slight residue.
Because it dissolves eye makeup quickly, you don’t have to tug on the delicate eye area, which in turn helps you avoid premature wrinkles. That gets the two thumbs up from me! Plus who actually wants to spend a long time removing makeup?

If you wear eye makeup (especially waterproof formulas), I highly recommend the Clean & Clear Soothing Eye Makeup Remover because it’s incredibly easy to use and works really fast. And considering that I have very sensitive eyes yet it didn’t irritate them one iota, that speaks volumes.
