The Review
A cleanser that doesn’t leave your skin feeling taut? Yes, it’s possible! That’s exactly what you get with the Vichy Purifying Foaming Cream Cleanser. From applying this product on my face to after taking it off, I feel like I’m enveloping my skin in softness.
The Vichy Purifying Cleaner has a very, very, very light creamy texture that feels super gentle. It doesn’t foam up enough though. I expect there to be more lather and bubbles since that’s what the product is called.
Despite that, the Vichy Purifying Cream Cleanser spreads easily. You don’t need a whole lotta product. The 125ml bottle lasts me about 8-9 months – a good stretch for the dollar.
And the smell? I love it. I usually don’t like my skincare products scented, but the Vichy cleanser smells almost like a relaxing warm bath, a good fragrance for bedtime.
After removing the cleanser, my skin feels super soft and never tight. It doesn’t strip away any moisture from my dry skin, a big bonus. And there’s no residue of the product or dirt left over…at all! Even when I sweep my face with toner after, the cotton pad I use always comes back clean. Yes!
The only real complaint I have about this product is that it doesn’t cleanse as deeply as I want it to. It does a good job of unclogging my pores and clearing away of any makeup I might have missed. However, I still see some blackheads. I don’t get a lot of blackheads to begin with, and after using the Vichy cream cleanser, my BHs have gotten better. But I’d still like to see them completely gone!

Final Verdict: 9/10
I highly recommend Vichy Purete Thermale Purifying Cream Cleanser, no matter what type of skin you have. It does the jobs it promises, without leaving your skin uncomfortable and tight. It’s a really good daily cleanser. I would use a weekly mask with it, though, to ensure your skin is completely free of impurities.
There’s also a Vichy Purete Thermale Hydra-Perfecting Toner available if you’re looking for a cleanser and toner that work together.
