Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Mystic Lilac Swatches & Review

Sally Hansen Mystic Lilac SwatchesToday I bring you a smokey grayish purple – Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Mystic Lilac!

You don’t often see this color from a drugstore brand, which is precisely why I had to get my paws on it. Plus the super-low sale price made it one of those last-minute-throw-in-with-the-rest-of-my-purchase buys.

I like it, but the formula needs some work and so does something else. Want to know what it is? You’re in luck – the answer’s not far off. Continue reading

It’s gee-golly swell if you can afford to drop $30 on a lip gloss and $50 on a face primer. But really, a lot of us just don’t have the budget to do that – not even once in a while!

So when it comes to beauty products, I’ve learned not to discriminate. I’ve also learned that there are a lot of great drugstore products out there that do an awesome job, but for way less. You end up getting more makeup and products that you love for the money you’re willing to spend. And who doesn’t love that? 🙂

Today, I want to share with you the best drugstore beauty products & finds that I’ve come across. Let me know if you agree with any of these or if there are products you’d recommend! Continue reading

Sammi and Ronnie? Definitely blew it. Tiger Woods? Blew it, no doubt. McDonald’s not offering their Sausage and Egg McMuffin after breakfast hour? Bleeeeeeeeeeew it! Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Blue It? No way – the color is a homerun. Holy smokes! I think Sally Hansen hit this one outta the park for sure.

This color’s no newbie on the block, but I’d still like to shine a little excitement onto it. It’s just a gorgeous blue that takes my breath away! At first I thought it’d be too blue to my liking. Was I wrong!

This is now my favorite blue nail polish.  The color is wearable, yet it’s very attention grabbing. That’s what I call the best of both worlds! Continue reading

High gloss, even finish, good consistency, rich color – that’s exactly what you get with Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Flirt. What more could you ask for?

Flirt is a purplish red mixed with warm brown tones. Even with one coat, the color looks rich enough and not sheer. I found the formula really easy to work with: it goes on evenly, and you don’t really need a top coat to add shine. But I applied one anyway just to protect the polish. It can stain your nails, so make sure to also wear a base coat. Continue reading

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Plum Power is a pretty combination of pink and purple. But when I look at it, I expect there to be an undertone of blue for some reason, which it doesn’t have. Anyhoo, it’s still a pretty color that’s in no way subtle. Continue reading
