China Glaze Charmed, I’m Sure Swatches & Review

China Glaze Charmed I'm Sure Swatches & ReviewChina Glaze Charmed, I’m Sure from the Autumn Nights Collection is a vampy eggplant shade that’s a purple version of squid ink.

Dark and mysterious, China Glaze Charmed, I’m Sure is a very sexy polish because, as you’ll notice, it’s incredibly shiny!

(You may remember me gushing over this nail polish on Instagram not long ago!)

The Autumn Nights Collection is spectacular so far, and it looks like China Glaze is on point again with brilliant colours and formulas to match.

I have a few more shades to share with you from this collection, so please stay tuned!

P.S. I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for voting for my nail art in the contest. Your support meant a lot to me!

China Glaze Strike Up a Cosmo Swatches & Review

China Glaze Strike Up a Cosmo Swatches & ReviewChina Glaze Stripe Up a Cosmo from the Autumn Nights Collection is so glamorous and blingy, I feel like I need to pop in a grill, floss my neck with some mad ice, and get down with some crunking! 😉

Then again, when I look at China Glaze Stripe Up a Cosmo, thoughts of a proper debutante wearing white elbow-length gloves and a string of pearls spring to mind.

It has such an awesome finish – you’re going to love it, especially in the sunlight because it sparkles like the eye of a mad scientist!

P.S. Today is the last day to vote for me in the nail-art competition. To vote, just click “Like” on Facebook on my manicure photo here. I’d really appreciate your vote to take me to the top! Please help me to spread the word! Thank you so much for your support!

China Glaze Queen B Swatches & Review

China Glaze Queen B Swatches & ReviewChina Glaze Queen B from the Autumn Nights Collection is a blue-purple creme nail polish that’s simple, but dramatic. I can see this as a great base for nail art!

The first thing that sprung to mind when I heard the name Queen B was a queen bee.

Isn’t it so weird how she’s fed by all her workers and is just responsible for having baby bees? (I wonder if she’s fanned with a leaf and fed grapes while having her little nails painted. Hehe!)

Thinking about bees also made me sadly remember the Colony Collapse Disorder, where worker bees go missing. It’s pretty scary because bees are needed to pollinate crops including plants that provide fruits and vegetables for our consumption. So if they disappear, that could spell disaster for our food supply!

I’ve read that some pesticides are the reason why a lot of honeybees are dying, and that it may play a role in how some bees leave the hive and either forget their way back to the hive or how to communicate to other bees where to locate the nectar.

Bees play such an important role in our ecosystem, so it’s scary to see them get hit with such a major problem.

I hope that scientists can figure out a viable solution to, at least, slow down the process.

China Glaze Autumn Nights Press Release & Promo Pictures

China Glaze Autumn Nights CollectionHere’s the 2nd post for today! (I’ve received a lot of press releases in a short period of time, so I hope you’re okay with seeing many this week.)

Today, I have for you the press release about the upcoming China Glaze Autumn Nights Collection that will hit stores in September.

Fall is my favourite season because the colours, the fashion, the beauty products, and the food are all calling my name.

“Marrryyy! Maaaaarrrryyy!” (Okay, so maybe that sounds a bit like a ghost. If it’s a nail-polish ghost, come and haunt me! I wouldn’t mind! All other ghosts, please stay far away, unless you’re named Casper and you’re friendly.) 😉

Out of the 12 colours in the China Glaze Autumn Nights Collection, I have my nail-junkie eye on the green and the purples! (Hehe, I bet that doesn’t come as a shock to any of my regular readers.) 😉

China Glaze On the Horizon Collection Press Release & Promo Pictures

China Glaze On the Horizon Collection Press Release & Promo PicturesIf you’ve checked out your local beauty-supply stores, you may have already seen the China Glaze On the Horizon Collection on the shelves.

On the Horizon features a feathered finish that is achieved by a dense formulation of short, multicoloured bar glitter.

Although I’ve seen other brands come out with their version of the feathered finish, I’ve never tried any, so I may need to buy at least one to see how I like it.

The ones that catch my attention the most are You’re a Hoot (Hehe, I’m an owl fan, so this is a must-have!), Party Fowl (blue, orange, and black sounds like a dramatic combination), and Flock Together (the green, blue, and black combination sounds fun to wear).

China Glaze Sunsational Collection Swatches & Review

China Glaze Sunsational Collection Swatches, Reviews & PhotosSome time ago, I finished reviewing all 12 shades in the China Glaze Sunsational Collection.

When other bloggers do ’round-up’ collection posts, I find them very helpful because you can really see which shades are similar. Those kind of posts also help you scratch off a few from your list to save you some money.

I wear my manicures for at least a day (and often longer). During the time I wear them, I take photos and then review them on here individually.

Since I have done in-depth reviews full of swatches in various lighting conditions and bottle shots for every single colour in the China Glaze Sunsational Collection, I whipped up this post in case you’ll find it helpful. Plus when you see all the colours together, it gives you a better sense of the overall personality and theme. (Normally, I don’t have entire collections.)

In this post, for each colour, I share my ‘snapshot’ opinion on it and a photo. Then, if you’re interested in learning more or seeing multiple swatches of it, you can head over to the provided link for the in-depth review.

Which are your favourites from the China Glaze Sunsational Collection?

Note: All the shades in the ‘Cremes’ half were purchased by me. All the shades in the ‘Jellies’ half were provided by China Glaze.

P.S. Stay tuned this week! I have something very special planned for Swatch And Learn readers. If you like nail polish, you’ll be interested! 😉
