I’ve been wanting to try the Bath & Body Works Mango Mandarin Moisturizing Shampoo for several years.
Finally after picking up the bottle and putting it back on the shelf, it ended up jumping into my loving arms…and then into the Bath & Body Works paper shopping bag. 😉
The main reason why I was really interested in trying out this shampoo was because citrus scents are really energizing, and that’s exactly what I appreciate in the mornings, especially now that the weather’s getting much warmer.
For today’s post, I have a review on the Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Pears Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap. I’ve been really wanting to try it because I heard that it’s a true-to-life scent, and I love the smell of pears!
You know how they describe some people’s figure as being ‘pear-shaped’? Well, I once saw a pear that was shaped exactly like a curvaceous butt!
This was several years ago when I was still living at home with my parents. And I took about a dozen photos of it from several angles because I thought it was hilarious. (Yes, I’m so mature…) 😉
If I manage to dig up the photos when I’m over at my mom’s place the next time, I’ll edit this post and include a photo of it somewhere near the bottom. It’s a must-see…hehehe!
Sweet, fruity candles remind me of the spring. They’re a great contrast compared to the heavier scents that are popular during the winter and fall.
A lot of people have been recommending that I try the Slatkin & Co. Pineapple Mango Candle.
I bought it last year and then tucked it away with the rest of my scented-candle collection until now.
I’ve been enjoying how it’s a happy scent that really fills the room.
Vanilla is a scent that I’ve been drawn to ever since I was a little girl.
There’s something comforting about it, and I love how it can blend with so many other scents to create a creamier version.
And when it’s paired with tart fruit scents, it softens the sharpness to make it cuddly and pleasant.
For a while, I’ve been wanting to try the Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fragrance Mist. A co-worker was sweet enough to surprise me with this about a year ago.
When I was a kid, my parents had a strawberry patch in their backyard. Each year, we’d try our best to get to the fruits before the ants did. (They beat us sometimes. Those little buggers!)
As much as I love eating strawberries, I find that sometimes the scent gets lost in translation when incorporated into beauty products.
Most times, I don’t like the artificial strawberry scent. There have only been a handful of occasions when I did. (Talk to Mr. Nose. He’s a total snob. Sometimes he wears dark sunglasses and does the whole diva bit.) 😉
Although I wanted it to wow Mr. Nose, unfortunately, the Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Strawberries Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap was a huge miss. I won’t be repurchasing this.
I’ve had the Slatkin & Co. Passion Flower Candle since last year, but I’m only getting around to reviewing it now.
Instead of all the heavy or spicy scents that winter brought us, this spring scent is light and juicy. What a refreshing change!
It produces a nice fragrance, but I can’t say that it’s my favourite Slatkin & Co. scented candle. In fact, I had to “Bust” this candle. I’ll tell you why in this post.

With the Hello Yellow Sale at Bath & Body Works going on, it seemed like a great opportunity to stock up on hand soap.
I’ve been getting into them more because I love how there are so many different scents to choose from, and they’re anti-bacterial.
Today’s feature is the Bath & Body Works Iced Gingerbread Anti-Bacterial Gentle Foaming Hand Soap!
With gingerbread in the name, it was hard to resist. Would it smell like actual gingerbread, or would it be more like a ginger cookie?
