Swatch And Learn 2010 Beauty Awards – Nailed It

Welcome to the first ever Swatch And Learn 2010 Beauty Awards! Nailed It is the 8th of 8 award posts.

To us at Swatch And Learn, no look is ever complete without a rockin’ manicure. This year, many nail polishes hit the tips of our fingers, and we’ve chosen our top 2 that we’d like to offer permanent residencies in our nail polish collection.

Here are our winners for the Nailed It Award:

Nailed It

This award is given to the nail polishes or treatments that bottle up our lacquer dreams.

Fiona’s Winner

OPI Russian Navy Suede

I enjoy a glossy finish to my nail polish that’s so shiny, it looks like I iced out my fingertips. But I can never deny myself of a matte nail polish – it’s so subtle and sexy! And since blue’s always been one of my fave colors, it’s a no brainer for me that Russian Navy Suede is my 2010 top nail polish. This true blue with a suede finish is truly gorgeous, but it also delivers with great application, ease of use and quick drying time. Don’t like the matte finish? I can even switch it up by putting a top coat on this beauty of a color!

Mary’s Winner

Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat

I’m a patient person, but when it comes to waiting for my nail polish to dry, it can feel like watching grass grow. Boring! Plus I always paint my nails at night before I go to bed, so if the polish isn’t completely dry, I could wake up to sheet marks that ruin the manicure. Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat completely dries my nails rock hard extremely fast, delivers a glossy shine, and helps my manicures last for over a week. I don’t think I’d paint my nails weekly without this stuff! (It’s bumped my former favorite, Nubar Diamont Seal & Shine Topcoat, down to 2nd place.)
