This is such a sweet idea! I actually just started a new blog yesterday. The plan is to put stuff like recipes, fitness- and nailstuff in there. Whatever I feel like, other than diary-stuff πŸ™‚
I guess I don’t really know how it will shape up, but I thought about it for a little while, and then when I made my wannabe smiley faces last night I just decided to create it. That means pictures of my ridiculously small nails are now available for anyone, anywhere with internet πŸ˜‰
A bunch of blognames are taken, so I went with random/awesome, The adress ended up being http://piratesandfood.blogspot.com.
(Pirates – awesome. Food – awesome!)

Aww…your smiley-face nail art put a smile on MY face! πŸ˜€ So cute!

P.S. Hehe, I agree. Pirates and food are both awesome! πŸ˜‰ ARR!

        Thanks, Mary! πŸ™‚

And thanks so much for checking my new blog out. I’m really happy you liked my nailart!
I find that it’s kind of motivation to try new nailarts when you get to blog about it afterwards.

I also thought about ninjas and vikings, but the pirates popped up first, and I figured it would get a bit crowded with all of those guys πŸ˜‰

Awesome, thanks so much! I had about a month’s worth of entries but fell so far behind that I just deleted them all and started over at the beginning of the month. I have two posts ready to go up later. =)

WOW! Your nail designs that you showcased on the nail wheels are so adorable and creative. You’re so talented! Hehe, the Timon and Pumba designs are so cute. Wow, you must have really steady hands to be able to paint that with such detail. I’m impressed!

    Hi!
What a fun smorgasbord post subject πŸ˜€

I’m a 24 year woman/girl(?) from the north of Sweden and my blog is http://gelicnailart.blogspot.se/ and as the title describes it’s almost all about nail art. I first started to paint my nails regularly when I was about ten and the more serious nail art interest started when I was perhaps 18, and since then I’ve been polished every day! I like getting inspired by other, both reading about nail polish and also about nail art. For a long time I’ve taken pictures of my nail art and early this summer I decided to start bloging myself, partly to inspire others but also to have an amazing archive for myself and also to have a voice in the blog community, like >this is me<. I grade my nail art, mainly for my self for the times when I can't decide which nail art to make, the 4-5 grade is the ones I could consider to do again but maybe with other colors. The rest I still show because others might like it or could be inspired of it. πŸ™‚

So please check it out if you like! πŸ˜€

      Hey Gelic’ nail art!

Cool manicures. I like how you used fimo in one of your manicures. Actually, I bought some fruit-shaped fimo pieces a while ago, but just never used them because I found it intimidating. After seeing a manicure you did and how it turned out, I should try mine soon. πŸ™‚

Hi! My name’s Shelly and I’m 13. I just really love how it’s possible to paint pretty much anything on nails. And I really love making designs that make people go, “Woa!” I started my blog to just kinda start a hobby of painting my nails. It’s called http://nail-stuff.tumblr.com/
(very creative, yes I know). My most recent post was me replying to a message from one of my followers, but the one right before that was a nail design based off of Vincent Van Gogh’s “Starry Night”. πŸ™‚

You’re so awesome to offer up some of your blog space here for your readers. Every little bit helps πŸ™‚ I always love to find new blogs, because the hundreds I follow just aren’t enough, so this is great to find some more gems I wouldn’t normally stumble upon. Plus I know the feeling of starting a blog and feeling completely alone wondering if there’s anyone out there so I enjoy giving new bloggers a lil boost to keep them going.

I’m sure you know my blog by now since I’ve been stalking yours since I started blogging πŸ˜› I created Lacquer Me Silly as a means to keep myself sane a year after I moved to a new state with my boyfriend. Little did I know, it would become more of an insanity rather than a sanity πŸ˜› I swatch and review nail polishes as well as dabble in some nail art. Every now and then I review other beauty products that I love and would like to share. I’ve been at it for just short of year now and I’m so excited to reach my 1 year blogiversary!

    Hi Mary!

I hope my comment works this time πŸ˜€

My blog is really new, but I am having so much fun with it. I plan to do some swatches and reviews as well as nail art, including challenges.

This all started with my love for pretty nails. Every time I painted my nails I loved them so much I wanted to keep them. So I’m going to keep them on the internets.

How cool are you to do this? Very, I think! :0) I just started my blog and only have a couple entries so far but hope to get better. I’ve seen so many blogs in the last few months I was just inspired to start my own as I love to do my nails and have ever since I can remember, even though I was a nail biter for years. Now that I have broken that nasty, nasty habit and actually have decent looking nails, I’ve decided to share my love of polish with my friends, family, and the web, where I hope to make many new friends, as I have in the past. I also have a personal blog as well, that I also just started. If you have any advice or suggestions, I’d be glad to hear it. :0) Have yourself a wonderful day!

Hmm…I tried to join your site on Google Friend Connect, but when I clicked on the button, it led me to a 404 error. I’ll try again another day, but you may want to look into it in case there’s a coding issue.

SO HAPPY to hear that you quit biting your nails. I personally know how challenging it is to do so. (I’m a former nail biter!)

            Hi Mary,

I was just wondering if you’d figured out the issue you were having with GFC or not? I seem to be getting a few page hits every day, but no followers so I’m wondering if mine even works now. Do you think I should take it off my page and reinstall it? I thought maybe you might be able to advice me a little on it. If not, I’ll see if there is any help in the help documents or in a forum somewhere. :0) I do hope you had a fantastic weekend!

Yes, I’m still having problems adding people on Google Friend Connect. πŸ™ It’s not just a problem with yours, it’s with everyone.

Hmm…I don’t think reinstalling it will help. (Then again, I use WordPress, not Blogger, so maybe there’s an upgrade feature you can look for in your Blogger dashboard?) I can’t really try anything out because I removed GFC from my blog a long time ago after Google made it no longer compatible with non-Blogger sites.

Are you able to add anyone? If it works for you, maybe it’s just my GFC account that isn’t working…
