Yesterday, I shared with you the press release on the OPI Ford Mustang Collection that’s set to be released in July, and today, you get to see the real deal! 🙂 YAY!
Last night, I came home to a box full of the entire OPI Ford Mustang Collection, so I whipped up this quick post for today because I just had to show you. I know many were interested in seeing them!
The shimmery blue gets my attention the most because you can never really have too many of those colours, right? Right? 😉
All of these colours can easily be combined with each other, so I think many fellow nailphiles will consider them to be manicure staples.
Note: The OPI Ford Mustang nail polishes have the Ford Mustang horse logo all over the caps, but since mine are press samples, they don’t have that. If you buy any in the store, yours will have that neat feature. The horse pattern is printed on the cap’s shrink wrap. (Check out the press release linked above to see what the horses on the caps look like.)

Many thanks to PR for not only sending me information and the collection, but also for sending me them so quickly! It was a lovely surprise, and I’m very happy to be able to share them with my incredible readers!
Which colour stands out to you the most? What colour combinations would you put together using these shades? Do you think these colours represent Ford Mustang well?
Thanks for the post! Is it just me, or have I seen these colours before? Not just on Ford Mustangs, but on nails?
Hey Rachel!
Yes, they’re not the most unique shades, but they’re still nice staples.
I’m about to die to get these colors. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Hey Melissa!
I love sharing nail polish with my awesome readers! Glad you’re enjoying these type of posts!
Just saw these in the shop downstairs and kinda went ‘meh’. Race Red looks orange in the bottle and Sky’s My Limit just wasn’t all that impressive. All of the rest of them look like something I’ve already got, so I came here because you always seem to show polishes true to actual form as opposed to press releases and plain bottle shots.
Once again, you haven’t let me down. 🙂 Thanks so much, Mary. 😀 Looks like I’ll be buying some of this collection, after all. 😀
Hey Arkmomy!
Yes, Race Red looks orange to me, too. Strange how they called that a red. And, oh my goodness, The Sky’s My Limit is truly beautiful – way prettier than any photos could do it justice!
You’re very welcome! I’m so happy to hear that you found my Quick Look post helpful!
Hey Mary- how does that white one compare to My Boyfriend Scales Walls? Is this new white better?
Hey Fingers!
I don’t have OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, but the white in this collection is one that I hope to review soon. I’ve worn it and photographed it. Just need to crop photos and put together the blog post.
This white is streaky with the first and second coats. I used a third coat, which evened everything out and I got complete opacity. I didn’t see this white as being anything different than others I’ve tried, unfortunately.
What is the difference between cola red or race red? Is this red different from other colors already out?
Hey Tina!
I haven’t worn Race Red yet, but in the bottle, it looks more orange than Coca-Cola Red. Both could probably be duped, but I don’t collect reds as much as other shades, so it might be hardly for me to pinpoint a good dupe for those.
