OPI I’m Sooo Swamped! from the New Orleans Collection is the type of Kermit the Frog green that I enjoy wearing because it’s fresh and a ‘Comfort Colour’ to me.
“But wasn’t St. Patrick’s Day last week?” I hear you ask. Well, yes, but just because the festivities are over and you’ve already caught the leprechauns doesn’t mean that you have to shun a cute green nail polish!
You know me – I pull out green all year long. It’s my favourite colour to wear on my nails, but interestingly enough, I don’t have too many green clothes. (Maybe it’s because clothing manufacturers don’t tend to make as many shirts in green, compared to, say purple or blue.)

OPI I’m Sooo Swamped! Review
Colour
I’m Sooo Swamped! by OPI is a medium green with a yellow undertone. It’s the colour of newly planted grass on your neighbour’s lawn.
(Is the grass actually greener on the other side? No idea. However, my nails are greener than my neighbour’s!) 😉
Finish
With a creme finish, it’s simple yet stunning. You don’t need tons of bells and whistles to get a green to pop, especially when it’s one that’s reminiscent of Kermit the Frog!
As is typical of creme nail polishes, removal was easy peasy!
Application & Formula
The formula was excellent – smooth and pigmented. It was easy to spread it out over my nails, and the finished look was very even. I only needed to use two coats to fully cover my nails.
Ingredients
OPI I’m Sooo Swamped! is free of Formaldehyde, Toluene, and DBP, which you may appreciate if you’re allergic to those ingredients, or if you’re making conscious shopping decisions.

Final Verdict: 9/10
If you don’t already have a leprechaun green in your stash…wait…what? You’d better rectify that immediately! 😉
OPI I’m Sooo Swamped! is a fresh green that adds a fun pop of colour. Try it, and you may be surprised by how much you dig green!
Do you still wear green nail polish, even after St. Patrick’s Day is over? Do you remember this really old Smorgasbord Sundays post from 2011 where I wrote about Kermit the Frog being one of my childhood crushes (among several others)?
I LOVE this color. It’s probably my favorite out of the set and It’s on my toes now. LOL I’m a big fan of green so this is one polish that i’m going to reach for again and again. Thanks for sharing. It looks great on you.
Hey Melissa!
Yay for green toesies! Glad you’re loving it as much as I am. 🙂
Yaaaaasssss! Beautiful! Love this green. Gotta get this. Yes another green. Lol THF!
Hey Robert!
You can never have too many green nail polishes. 😉 THF!
Hi Mary! Thanks for sharing this color with us! I’m not a huge fan of greens just because I think they make my skin look weird, or maybe I haven’t found the right tone for my skin? Anyway, I was wondering if this color stained your nails at all? Or your cuticles when removing it? Thanks and have a great day!
Hey Ariadna!
There’s a green for everyone. Maybe try deeper jewel tones because they tend to be universally flattering.
Nope, this polish didn’t stain my nails or my cuticles at all.
Thank you, and I hope you have a wonderful week! 🙂
This green is absolutely gorgeous! I actually don’t have a green like this in my collection so I will be rectifying that!

Hey Sasha!
You’ll love it. It’s very fresh and ideal for spring! Enjoy! 🙂
Beautiful swatches as usual…would you say Essie Mint Mojito is a dupe for this?? Thanks so much!!!
Hey Marilyn!
Thank you so much for stopping by!
When you say Essie Mint Mojito, did you mean Essie Mojito Madness? (I’m not sure if I have a Mint Mojito.)
As for Mojito Madness, from what I can recall, it’s slightly less yellow-toned and lighter compared to I’m Sooo Swamped!. I think that I’m Sooo Swamped! pops on the nails more because it’s a true, vibrant grass green. I remember Mojito Madness as being not quite as vivid and softer-looking overall.
You are correct about the name…lol…Thank you so much…Now, I know for sure I need to track down, “I’m Sooo Swamped.” It looks too beautiful for me to pass up!!!
Hey Marilyn!
You’re welcome! I haven’t busted out that Essie in a long time. I need to find it. Maybe I can do side-by-side swatches.
If you’re a green lover, you will love the OPI. Plus OPI doesn’t seem to release too many greens, so it’s extra special, in my eyes.
