Nicole by OPI Walmart Exclusives Press Release & Promo PicturesThe number three plays a big role in fairy tales. There were the Three Billy Goats Gruff, the Three Little Pigs, as well as Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

I found out recently that there are three new Nicole by OPI Wal-Mart Exclusives. (If they find their way onto your nails, maybe they’ll have a fairy-tale happy ending.) 😉

There’s a gold, rose pink and glitter polish.

Come take a look at the larger promotional images and read the official press release!

Press release sent to me by PR:

Nicole by OPI Launches Three New Nail Lacquers, Exclusively at Walmart

Nicole by OPI announces three new shades to be exclusively sold at Walmart, in stores February 2012. These rich shimmer and glitter hues give fingers and toes an elegantly chic look, with colors that include a sparkly champagne gold, a shimmering rose pink, and a confetti glitter.

“Nicole by OPI is excited to bring three new nail lacquers exclusively to Walmart for 2012,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Nicole by OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “Both the gold and pink hues have a chic metallic finish, but the warm-toned pigments in these lacquers are distinctly feminine. The glitter in “Fabulous” is My Middle Name includes red, fuchsia, blue, gold and silver sparkles, adding multidimensional shine when worn alone or layered over either of the other two shades.”

The three new colors include:

Best Pink Ever
Seriously. This magnificent metallic pink is the best in town.

“Fabulous” is My Middle Name
But you can call me “multi-colored sparkle.”

“Metallic and glitter are currently very trendy lacquer finishes,” explains WeissFischmann. “Some metallic lacquers look 3-dimensional or holographic when applied, while others sparkle from different angles, or reflect when exposed to different types of light. All are extremely beautiful!”

Nicole by OPI Nail Lacquers and Nail Treatments contain no DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde. Nicole by OPI formulas are long-lasting, fast-drying, and salon-quality.

These Walmart exclusive lacquers will be available in February 2012 for $9.68 CDN in
select Canadian Walmart locations.

My Thoughts:

Based on the promotional pictures, I’d say that all three shades look like they’d be very easy for anyone to sport.

They’re all very pretty, but my eye went straight to “Fabulous” is My Middle Name because of the multicoloured sparkle. It looks like there’s some blue, fuchsia, red, and silver, which seems like a party in a bottle!

Out of these three, which is the one you’re drawn to the most?

      Hey Marisa!

Hehe, well, I can’t blame you because you rock pinks incredibly well. How do you do it? I know I’ve asked before…hehe, and even questioned if pixie dust was the reason. 😉 If pinks looked even half as good on me as they do on you, I would wear them more often, too!

      Hey Naomi!

I wonder how many people (out of the people who end up purchasing it) will actually think it’s the best pink ever. 🙂

Even in the promo pics, that Best Pink Ever speaks to me. It knows that I generally prefer brights, blues, and greens, but it begs to be tried…this could be trouble. 😛

      Hey karen!

Yeah, pink polishes are always trying to stir up trouble. 😛 Not like other colours… Green is my homeboy. 😛 Hehe!

      Hey Candace!

Thanks for reminding me – I got OPI Sparkle-icious, but I haven’t even worn it yet. That needs to go on my To Wear List!

      Hey Sarah!

Same here…hehe! And isn’t it amazing how companies are able to come out with so many unique glitters? It just shows you how creative the people behind the brand are. It’s so inspiring!

Are these out yet? I’d want to get my hands on Fabulous as well! Btw, you’ll be amused to know that since I still haven’t snagged Rainbow Connection yet (I’ve been trying to stay away from Trade Secrets, that terrible place of temptation!), my hubby took one look at Rainbow in the S-kylie and he actually convinced me to get it. 🙂

      Hey Carmela!

These should be out, but different Wal-Mart locations may get them earlier or later. The press release didn’t give a specific date in February, but I’ve heard that someone has already found them. 🙂 Hope you find the one you’re looking for.

Haha, your husband has great taste! 😉 Maybe he’ll let you paint his nails with it, too. Heheheheh!
