Talking as Fast as I Can by Lauren Graham: Bringing You Closer to Stars Hollow

Lauren Graham Talking as Fast as I Can Gilmore Girls

Excited to get my hands on Lauren Graham‘s new book, Talking as Fast as I Can!

I’m a huge Gilmore Girls fan, and my all-time favourite characters are Lorelai, Kirk, Emily, and Jess. Who are yours?

So far, I’ve watched 3 out of 4 of the new reboot Netflix episodes in the A Year in the Life series. Trying to hold off on that last episode because I don’t want it to end! 🙂

Any fellow Gilmore Girls fans out there?

I’ve never seen Gilmore Girls, but I might have to just to see what the fuss is about. LOL Thanks for sharing. Your nails, as always, look great!

      Hey Melissa!

*GASP* Never seen Gilmore Girls? I. Can’t. Believe. It! Hehe, you MUST watch the show, and start from Season One, so you get acquainted with all the hilarious and fully developed characters in the series. You will fall in love with it! I don’t know anyone who dislikes Gilmore Girls. The writing is clever, the dialogue is fast-paced, and the actors are incredibly talented!

I loooove Gilmore Girls too!! I’m impressed at your restraint saving episode 4.. I couldn’t control myself and watched it all the night it came out I’ll have to get my hands on that book! (Curious to know what your reaction to the final episode is…)
    Also, beautiful red nails!

      Hey Meghan!

Yay for a fellow Gilmore Girls fan! *High-five* 😉

Restraining myself from watching the final episode on Netflix was very, verrrry hard…as difficult as sitting through a Friday-night dinner with Emily Gilmore after a big fight. Hehe!

Since this post, I finally watched the last episode. My reaction? WOW! There was a lot of talk about the last four words in the episode, so I was curious what they might be. When I finally heard them, I nearly fell off my seat! Talk about a twist in the road!

I don’t want to give away any spoilers on here, in case anyone who hasn’t seen this is reading the post now, but I’ll just say this: There were several hints dropped in all four Netflix episodes leading up to it. While I like that it paints her in a different light and that the character wasn’t one-dimensional, I was hoping that things would be left tied up in a nice, neat bow. Life isn’t always like that, so the ending was actually fitting and allows you to use your imagination. Plus I’m sure every Gilmore Girls fan had to pick up their jaw from the ground after those last four words! 😉
