Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture Pop-up Shop in Toronto July 17 & 18 (12pm – 7pm)

Juicy Couture I Am Juicy CoutureYesterday evening, I attended the Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture exclusive media and influencer launch party at 501 Queen Street West in Toronto in the pop-up shop designed by Candice and Alison.

This is where I got the custom-engraved Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture bottle with my initials that I showed you on my Instagram and other social media.

(Later in this post, I share with you how you can get your bottle engraved, too!)

It was incredible because there was music by Gillespie Bros to set the lounge atmosphere, food by Parts & Labour to appease your stomach, and portrait sittings by Renata Kraveh, a fashion photographer, to bring out your inner model!

(To get an idea of the vibe, click here to see the short video clip I posted on Instagram.)

We heard about the inspiration behind the perfume, and watched a little clip of Behati Prinsloo greeting us and welcoming us to the launch party. (Behati is the face of Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture.)

Cocktails were crafted by a handsome bartender (a photo of him is further down in this post), servers went around with hors d’oeuvres on platters, and there was also a fragrance bar that offered custom engravings on perfume bottles of Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture!

Before even stepping in, the atmosphere was similar to a nightclub with a bouncer at the front.

After checking in, I was greeted by models who offered me little sample vials of the fragrance.

Making my way in to the dim-purple-lit room, I saw beautiful displays with fresh flowers and perfume bottles. Had there not been a video interview going on in that spot, I would’ve snapped some photos there.

I took some photos of the flowers elsewhere.

In the middle of the room was a large vase that was nearly as tall as me, so I had to snap a photo. It was filled with fresh flowers, and no, that’s not my hand. People where leaning on it as they talked, and it served as a good indicator of how large the vase was!

Moving further to the back, I got to the fragrance station. A woman put my first and last name on a form, gave me a copy, and saved the other copy. Then, she said to just check back before leaving to pick up the custom-engraved bottle.

They used initials on the front of the bottle, under “I AM”. My initials are MS, which I like because my bottle says “I AM MS”, and that makes me think of “Ms.”

Side note: When given the option between Miss and Ms., I always select Ms. because I think it’s more empowering. (Men just use “Mr.” without their title identifying whether or not they’re married, and I think that “Ms.” is the equivalent.)

In case you’re wondering, I was wearing China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy (the original version) on my nails. (It’s my favourite neon.)

If you lined up, you could have your portrait taken with the fashion photographer. You got to pick from a bunch of cards that said things like “I AM NOT TYPICAL”, “I AM NOT ORDINARY”, “I AM NOT SHY”, “I AM NOT APOLOGETIC”, etc. Then, you could pretty much do any pose you wanted.

I saw a lot of people before me take amazing photos, and well, I rarely take photos of myself (except for my nails), so after several failed attempts to create an animated shot by throwing petals into the air, I think a more appropriate card for me to have chosen (which wasn’t available) would have been: “I AM NOT A GOOD MODEL” 😉

Oh, and this is what the handsome bartender looked like:

Now for how you can participate!

How You Can Get Your Own Custom-Engraved I Am Juicy Couture Bottle

On Friday July 17 and Saturday July 18 from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the same pop-up shop at 501 Queen Street West (where the launch party was) will be open to the general public, so everyone can experience Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture!

You can check out the fragrance bar and try out the scent, plus there will be complimentary “Juicy Girl” Refreshments, a complimentary metallic tattoo station, a portrait studio area, a DJ, and social media prizes for posts using #IAMJUICYCOUTURE.

The most exciting part, though, is that when you donate a minimum of $50 to Look Good Feel Better (tax deductible) at the event, you’ll receive a bottle of the new I Am Juicy Couture fragrance, which retails for $89.

You’ll also have the opportunity to have your Juicy Couture I Am Juicy Couture bottle engraved free of charge!

A very special thank you to Langton Communications for inviting me to this exciting event! It was the highlight of my week! 🙂

P.S. I will be reviewing this fragrance very soon on the blog. (Hint: I love it!)

Disclosure: This is not a sponsored post, and the engraved bottle of perfume was a gift at the event I attended.
