Giveaway: Canadians, Win the Entire OPI Couture de Minnie Collection!

Edit (Saturday May 25): Congratulations, Jess! You’ve won my giveaway! You have 48 hours to reply to my e-mail in order to claim your prize!

Thank you to everyone for participating!

I’ll be having another Canada-only giveaway soon, and later, I’ll have one that’s open to readers outside Canada, too. Stay tuned!

————————————–

Surprise! 😉

Canadians, enter to win the entire OPI Couture de Minnie Collection!

Win the Entire OPI Couture de Minnie Collection

I teamed up with the amazing OPI PR team to make this giveaway possible. (I’ve done international giveaways before, but this time, I want to reach out to my fellow Canadians.)

As a blogger, I’ve collaborated with several PR firms and companies. I’ve been privileged to review new nail polishes that sometimes haven’t even hit the stores yet. It’s really exciting! So, I wanted to share that excitement with Swatch And Learn readers by offering you a chance to get brand-new polishes before they’re officially released. (The OPI Couture de Minnie Collection will officially be released in June, although sometimes there are stores that seem to carry them a little sooner.)

My loyal readers know just how to turn even my worst days into the best days. You’ve left me thoughtful comments and even welcomed me back after I took a short hiatus. Thanks for reinforcing why I blog – to connect with people, to share a similar passion, and to learn from and be inspired by others!

Swatch And Learn readers are the best!

Thanks for touching my heart, opening up to me, caring about what I have to say, and laughing at my jokes. It is greatly appreciated!

To find out how to enter, please carefully read the rest of this post.

Giveaway Details:

  • Starts: Now
  • Ends: Friday May 24 at 11:59 pm Eastern
  • Who Can Enter: Canadian residents
  • Prize: The entire OPI Couture de Minnie Collection (5 full-size bottles! To see the exact shades, click on the link. It leads to the official press release sent to me by PR.)
  • How Many Times You Can Enter: One entry per person. Even if you comment more than once, I will only count it as a single entry.
  • How to Enter: In a comment, tell me what you enjoy seeing the most on Swatch And Learn. (I’d like to know so I can give you more of what interests you!) 🙂
  • Please Help Me Spread the Word: I’d appreciate it if you could help me get the word out about this giveaway. Feel free to tweet, blog, etc. about it.
  • Picking the Winner: I’ll be using Random.org to randomly select the winner. I’ll announce the winner sometime on May 25. The winner will have 48 hours to reply to my e-mail to claim the prize. Failure to do so will force me to randomly draw another winner. After the winner sends me the mailing address, I’ll forward it to OPI’s PR, and they’ll send you the prize directly! (Please add swatchandlearn@gmail.com to your Safe list so my e-mail doesn’t accidentally go to the Junk folder.)

Please Support Me Along These Social-Media Platforms

No, it’s not mandatory to be entered in this giveaway, but I would appreciate your support.

Good luck!

P.S. I will be reviewing the shades in the OPI Couture de Minnie Collection. Check back soon! Which one(s) are you looking forward to the most?

Edit: These are the polishes from the OPI Couture de Minnie Collection that I’ve reviewed and swatched:

Too bad, I am not Canadian either, but for those looking to get their hands on these early, I can tell you I saw a full display of them at Ulta this week in Pennsylvania, and they are live on their website already too.

I always enjoy seeing your swatches: it’s good to know what the polishes look like on real nails instead of just in the bottle or on nail wheels. You always do an awesome job!

Thank you for such a great giveaway, and especially one for just us Canadians! We miss out on so many, it’s fun to have one just for us for a change. 🙂

I love your swatch posts and your comparisons especially. It’s fun to see what colours are similar across brands so I can decide whether that new $brand shade really has to come home with me or not!

Aside from loving your photos, I love that you break down the pros and cons of each polish. Tell how many coats you used in your swatches. Love the final verdict and that you list, where to find the polish, that you talk about the finish, the collection/year they come out in (or when they are going to hit stores!) and what price it is. Not many nail polish bloggers break down products into such detail and I really appreciate it!

P.S. I love that you are doing a giveaway just for Canadians! Too often I find myself getting excited about a giveaway only to read further and find that we are excluded. So, thank you 🙂

I do really like when you do comparison posts! It’s so helpful seeing similar shades right next to each other and photographed the same way (as you do) so then I know whether I need them all! (usually yes, haha!)

Hi Mary! I love your blog and am an avid reader. I really enjoy the detailed reviews that you do on polishes! They always help me decide whether or not I want to purchase a polish. I also really like how you rate them out of 10. As well, I find it really interesting to read about the cool OPI events that you go to. One thing that I would like to see more of is nail art! Going through your previous entries I can see that you’re really talented and I would love to get some inspiration for future designs.

This collection is sooo cute! Good luck to all my fellow Canadians! 🙂

I really enjoy your B&BW candles or hand soap posts, mostly because I enjoy surrounding my self (and my home) with beautiful, scented things, and I think a love of beauty products ties in to a love of creating a beautiful space! As far as the Minnie Couture collection, I’ve heard great things about the pink and red shimmers, I’m hoping they both have that lit from within glow that OPI is famous for! I’ve been exited for a deep, shimmery pink for awhile now!

Ooh, hurrah! One of the reasons I was first drawn to your blog was that you are also Canadian; it does get a bit frustrating reading US-based bloggers, especially when they brag about low prices. 😉
As far as what I like, I do really like it when you mention similar colours. I know you don’t just swatch colours, which is fine, but sometimes you mention that the colour you’re wearing reminds you of _other colour-, and that can be really helpful.

My favourite are the Smorgasbord Sundays and tutorials. The smorgasbord sundays are usually so entertaining and makes it refreshing when I follow a bunch of nail polish blogs to see a different post 🙂 I also like tutorials because it’s not very often you do nail art (in my opinion)

I love how you provide a review and rating at the end of each post because a post with just photos isn’t enough information for me. The quality of your pictures and manicures are great, and the variety in your posts keep me coming back for more. I just discovered your blog this morning, as I was googling swatches for OPI San Francisco & ended up scrolling through a number of back posts to check out more. My favourite thing about your blog is the in-depth review of polishes: lots of close-up photos, description of polish flow, colour, compare & contrast to other polishes & how the product rates in relation to the company’s PR. Bonus: as a Canadian (I live in TO), it’s good to know what’s available here & see pricing in Canadian dollars. I’ve added the url to my daily round of nail blogs, so I’ll be checking in every morning over breakfast.

Hope you’re having a great Victoria Day!
